Second time here and great food both times. Good service and sushi rolls were good. I am partial to their avocado eel roll. I tried the fried calamari and it was good. Glad to find a sushi restaurant so close to us.

Being an experimenter at heart, I ordered something predictable and something not quite so obvious. This place is both accessible and a wonderful gem. I’ve found a new favorite Japanese restaurant! Real Japanese food made with actual Japanese ingredients, not the same as the stuff you find in mall food courts or at that [FAST]way chain joint. I ordered the Chicken and Steak Hibachi and the Chicken Yakisoba, and they were both delicious! Portions aren’t generous though, but healthy; you won’t feel overstuffed after eating.

Hands down one of the best kept secrets for Japanese food in the area. Truly authentic flavor of Japanese food prepared by Japanese chef (you rarely find that nowadays here). Very moderately priced. I’ve been eating here and ordering take out for years. Aside from the sushi and sashimi that is excellent with a wide variety, the Japanese hot dishes are spot on. I’ve tried Yakisoba in 5 other highly rated Japanese restaurants here and it tastes nothing like the real deal in Japan I pretty much gave up, but the one I had here today was spot on!! The space is cozy and quiet. The staff are very polite and respectful, as you would expect from a Japanese-run establishment. It’s like having a small slice of Japan tucked quietly in our backyard… priceless!!

The salad is great- they use the same dressing that the Japanese steak houses use. Edamame was also very good. But the chicken yakisoba, OMG, SOOO good! I haven’t had it since I moved from Japan 18 years ago & it’s exactly as I remember. I’ll definitely be getting it a few times a month now!
