I hate writing bad reviews about restaurants that have so much potential, but this place was awful.
Yes it was a busy night but really no excuse for the quality of the food.
Ordered sushi appetizers and expected to get it then our salad and then our main course one after the other like his normal. But we got the soup and salad first then the main course and finally are appetizer in that order but also at the same time.
The sushi was a mess. You couldn’t even pick it up to eat it. It was supposed to have mango in it and I think I saw a couple little pieces but mostly it was just mango flavored sauce dumped on top. We got two two rolls. One was supposed to have fish row on it and the other was not and they got them mixed up. Put the fish row on my wife’s which of course she does not like. You would think sushi chefs would know what goes on their rolls they’re making and selling.
I got the salmon. My wife got the chicken both with a dark sauce which normally has lots of flavor at every other Japanese restaurant we’ve been to but not this place. The sauce had no flavor. No spice nothing. And the chicken and salmon were both overcooked and dry.
We didn’t get the hibachi because we didn’t need a show and don’t want to have food thrown at us but that’s the only reason to come here.

People go to miyakas for the experience and food, however, that being said, it’s very hard to enjoy it when your server is rushing you through the whole meal.
No sooner than the food is on your plate.They’re bringing you the check and did not bothered to ask if we needed anything else or another drink. Then before you can get your money out or your card to pay your bill they’re coming around asking if you want to go box!
I realized that they need to turn their tables quickly, but it will be a long time before I ever go back again. They have an upcharge on fried rice !
I think that it is just rude.You cannot even enjoy your night out.

Oh my gosh! Everything about this place 5 start! The staff was super friendly and greeted us when we walked in. We sat at regular dining. Our waitress was very nice was well!!! Their drinks were super strong!! (Not complaining) their Bruce Lee hibachi was yummy! Along with our sushi roll!! (I cannot remember the name) I will definitely have to be back! My bf and I like trying new places and glad we came across this place! Even when we were leaving the staff was nice and thanked us and told us to have a great night!

Decided on Hibachi for a Friday night dinner date. Great food and fast service. Decent entertainment but the overall cleanliness of the restaurant along with the constant stares from service members made this an uncomfortable dining experience.

I had dinner at Miyako Steakhouse last evening (Saturday). It was packed. By the time we got our table, I was staving. Our chef was The Best! He was funny and made our experience there even more enjoyable! The food stands alone – DELICIOUS!!! I wish I knew his name, but I don’t know if he said it?!?! He did mention he was married to our server 🙂 Anywho, the only negative thing I can say is that it was loud in there and not much room to wait. Oh, also, the parking lot was a total mess!!! WTH, get a service to get rid of the snow!!! It’s a hazard.

Normally I have a good experience dining in doing hibachi and getting rolls in the restaurant and for takeout. But tonight was not the same. I wasn’t greeted for 5 mins and when I was they were rude and yelling at me and all I did was stand there and not even say anything. Then I kind of made a face bc why are you being rude to your customers for no reason. But I was like whatever got my food and left and if that was it I wouldn’t even make this review. But I’m eating my rolls at home and feel something in my mouth and pulled out a piece of ALUMINUM FOIL. That is why I’m so incredibly upset. Bc I could’ve swallowed that.

Came here for my birthday with a 10 friends and we had a blast!! Our hibachi chef was very entertaining, made us laugh, and made us mountains of delicious food. I was very impressed at how they kept everyone’s orders correct. Such a fun experience.

This has always been one of my favorite restaurants, the food is amazing! I am writing a review because of the experience my fiancé and I had on Valentine’s day. We felt like our portions were smaller than usual and we were rushed. I ordered the fried ice cream and the waitress told me no because it would take too long.. then I went to use the restroom and when I came back they asked my fiancé to get up so they could seat the next table. I had an almost full cocktail on the table that was thrown away, I was so upset. I understand Valentine’s day is a very busy day but that was unacceptable. Miyako I love you but you owe me a Fuyu!
