Miyako is an excellent Japanese sushi restaurant located near Dadeland Mall in Miami. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, and the prices are very reasonable and the quality of the food is excellent. The dinner combinations are great since it includes a soup or salad, an entree and sushi which is plenty of food. The sushi is particularly tasty and expertly prepared. The waiter Jennifer always provides exceptional service; she’s attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I would highly recommend Miyako to anyone looking for a great sushi restaurant in Miami.

Our experience here was truly disappointing. We dined on a Friday night, and the atmosphere was uncomfortably quiet and awkward. no music at all, and we could clearly hear dishes being washed and servers’ conversations throughout the meal.
Having eaten here before, it was especially disappointing to see how far the quality has declined. The seafood did not taste fresh. The protein in the volcano roll was severely overcooked. Tough, chewy, and barely identifiable (possibly calamari). The vegetable soup had an old, stale flavor and did not taste freshly made. The lack of atmosphere and noticeable drop in food quality made this visit a letdown compared to past experiences. Food is way overpriced considering the quality.

I don’t know why I haven’t written a review yet but here it goes… I have been coming here for years and it is always good. Very consistent service and food. Here you will always find fresh fish for sushi… but their cooked meals are also notable.
The sea bass with spinach is so good. The Ramen is good.. definitely not the best but it is $10.00 and has a rich broth that can warm your heart. Ambiance is very kid friendly and having the floor seating option is always appealing to them. Sushi boats are very affordable for 2 or 3 people.

We have been several times to this location but never had terrible experiences. This time they handed us food in unwashed dishes! My edamame bowl had a noodle in it! It was truly disgusting. (I hadn’t ordered any meals with noodles!) The kitchen is unsanitary as is the restaurant, try another Japanese place

Exceptional service. Sensational dishes. Try their miso soup. If you’re a fan of miso, you’ll love it. We also tried their Dragon Roll. Delicious! It’s like a JB and spicy tuna roll mashup. I had the salmon teri main and my husband tried their beef and shrimp pad thai. They were both great choices. At first, I was a little sad that my dish didn’t come with broccoli and carrots but I got over it pretty quickly once I tried their teriyaki sauce. Amazing! No room for dessert but maybe next time. Definitely check this place out.

AMAZING!!! Had a dinner date with my boo. We sat in the tatami. It was a very chill and calming atmosphere. The server was very attentive and had great recommendations the place was quiet, not a lot of people for a Saturday night, and the food came quickly! We had a dinner for 2 that included 2 salads (or soups) and a huge boat of sushi. (Very filling)
Afterward, we shared a fried cheesecake.

I was in the area trying to get something quick to eat. I found this place accidentally, which worked out good. I am a lover of Japanese food that’s why, so I was happy. I had soup and dinner under $20.00 and the food was fresh and delicious. Service was great as well. I would definitely go back to dine again.

Bummer they are not allowing dine in yet. But I did order to go. The teriyaki dinner was very good. The couch miso we was very good. The ginger and wasabi works well. The unagi remain was also good. The food was ok, definitely not the best sushi I’ve had and the dessert was ok as well. The sushi roll was $16 and I was expecting all these different flavors but they just didn’t deliver. The mochi was hard (super disappointing) and the ice cream was ok. The service was alright.
