I just visited Miyako Doral expecting a nice dining experience, but unfortunately it was very disappointing.
Our server, whose name was Francia (or something similar), disappeared shortly after taking care of us at the beginning, and no one else came back to our table. We were left without service for a long time while all the other servers kept walking past us without checking in, helping, or even clearing plates. It really felt like there was no teamwork at all. We finished our meal and continued waiting, but our server never returned. Eventually, since it was already closing time, we had to call someone just to get assistance and finish our visit. Even though the service was practically nonexistent, I still left a tip which honestly did not reflect the experience we received. I came expecting a pleasant night out, and instead left feeling frustrated and disappointed.
I truly hope the restaurant improves their service and teamwork because the overall experience was far from enjoyable.

Came to this location for its proximity to our hotel. Mariana was our waitress. She is very lovely and attentive. The chicken Yakisoba was my favorite. It had plenty of veggies and the chicken was soft and flavorful. The California roll was a bit plain and a bit dry. The Santana roll was good but wasn’t impressed. loved that they have a kids menu which included a fountain drink. The sushi is a bit more expensive than other locations but the other food options we had were similar in price. Very clean location.

This is a repeat spot for me and it was honestly all I could think about when booking my Miami trip, and it did NOT disappoint. We tried multiple appetizers (gyozas, tuna tartare, tataki, rocoto shrimp), several rolls (Watashi, Kabuki, Doral, Mother & Son), the special fried rice, and dessert (thai donuts and banana tempura).. everything was amazing!!
The Kabuki roll was my favorite!! But everything was great with that soft, buttery fish that melts in your mouth, perfect flavor combinations, and beautiful presentation. The ambiance is great and the service was excellent.
I wish they’d open one in Texas, but until then I’ll keep coming back. Totally worth it!

This is the perfect spot to go out on a date or with friends! Our server, Roxana, was very kind and attentive. The sushi was really good and fresh, and the bulgogi plate with fried rice was savory and very filling. The atmosphere was calm and good vibes overall.

I have to start by giving a shout-out to Roxana, who was our server/host and whose knowledge of the menu was key to our amazing dinner. Following her advice, we tried dishes that truly blew us away . The service was impeccable. Roxana was not only friendly but also incredibly attentive throughout our meal, making sure we had everything we needed and explaining each dish with passion. It’s wonderful to find staff so genuinely excited about what they serve.

We were Lucky to get seated at the night. Just 30 seconds walk from the hotel of one night. Actually I didn’t expect so much, but my husband wanted to eat there. Eventually both of us enjoyed so much for the tastes, the ambience and their services

I had such a great experience at Miyako Doral! The food was amazing as always, but what really made the visit special was our waitress, Yustiny. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. She checked on us often without being intrusive, gave great menu recommendations, and had such a positive attitude that made the meal even more enjoyable.

Loud, Pop-Techno music ruined the evening. Could not have a conversation over the din. Not cool!
Green tea ($5) was served lukewarm and became cold before dinner was served.
Miso soup ($7) came quickly, was lukewarm, but tasty. Lots of seaweed, nice size bowl.
Bulgogi ($32) was served with fried rice and Kimche. Kimche never came, even after having asked for it.
Bulgogi was exceptionally salty, even to the point of being unpleasant. I was unable to finish the meal.
No need to move on to dessert given the performance of the meal.
We came based on the 4.8 star rating which, I believe, is outrageous.
Total bill? $110 for 2 people.
I would never return here and cannot recommend to others.
Recommendation: There are too many other choices to waste time and money here.
