Incredible food at a great price point. Was shocked at the incredible quality of the fish and is definitely way better than many of the top sushi spots in New York or San Francisco. Definitely recommend the Chirashi Bowl and Duck Breast. It will blow your mind.

Hands down favorite restaurant in Portland after multiple visits here. Everything is delicious! You truly can’t go wrong with whatever you order. All of the fish is so fresh and we also enjoyed the marinated eggplant and duck breast dishes (not pictured) which were both incredible. The vibe and the servers are also delightful 🙂 love this spot and we will always stop here whenever we’re in town.

I ordered the omakase sushi, and I’m grateful to be able to enjoy sushi of this level in the U.S. The downside is that the portions were on the smaller side, and the shrimp tempura was terrible. It seemed like they had no understanding of authentic Japanese tempura, which was surprising for such a high-end Japanese restaurant.

We celebrated our anniversary here and would absolutely return again. The Hamayaki was definitely the highlight

Very high quality sushi and service. The inside has a super clean traditional Japanese aesthetic. The dish that really blew us away was the duck nikuman buns —truly one of the most finely crafted dishes that has ever graced our palates. What ever you do, do not miss out on this one.

The best upscale Japanese restaurant in Portland, hands down. Great environment, great staff and obviously great authentic Japanese food. This is one of the places we take all of our guests to. Easy to love!

Y’all. The tuna in the bento box was some of the best fish I’ve ever had. Sam was a great waiter and very informative. We got the Spicy Lobster roll and the Salmon Lady II roll. With the bento box, we got a miso soup that my mother exclaimed was the greatest she’d ever had.

So happy they’re open again! Also Omasake!! Both the nigiri one and the sashimi one were on point. We also got the octopus tempura and the wagyu beef which were both also amazing. I also loved the ambiance of then place. Just was a bit sad they don’t have any dessert..

One of the best sushi restaurants in Portland Maine! Decided to check this place out with my husband during our visit and thoroughly enjoyed their sushi amongst all other food 🙂 server was also very generous and made our date night special. We were also sitting by the sushi counter, which was entertaining to watch the chefs in action!

Overall, would definitely come back here again and try some of their other menu items during our next visit in town.

What an absolute great experience this trip has been! The food was upscale, decadent, and full of mouthwatering deliciousness! The variety of the dishes were unexpected, well thought out, and exceptional. We got the chance to sit at the bar area, beside the chefs preparing the dishes. It was equivalent to dinner and a show. I feel spoiled and fear no other place can or will compare…guess I just need to go again to treat myself! Until I come back….wait for me!!
