I have been coming to Miyagi since 2010! Their food is consistently great quality. Their menu has grown a lot. My fav is the baked scallop roll. Can’t find anything nearly as good anywhere else.

Best sushi as someone said? Hahaha… what a joke! Maybe better on someone’s plate, not on takeout plate! Or maybe my chef’ hands were injured by a bad knife tonight? really hard to find cold snobby service like this place. The old guy told us to go out wait for 15mins, the old lady won’t even bring the bill to us, instead of calling us to the door. All because that we only ordered some simple rolls I guess, or should we be more generous to pity them? Hope they survive with a good salary THANKS to their customers, not including us never ever though.

I discovered this cozy little sushi place less than a year ago even though I’ve been in the area for ten years. The quality of their sushi rivals much fancier restaurants. And their hot food is really really hot, which is how it should be. Pretty big menu for such a small place too.

Reasonably priced. Most of the sushi and hot dishes are done quite well. We did find the scallop nirigi below expectations at market price. Regarding service, the staff was clearly overwhelmed on a Saturday evening, but I have to say they are trying to cope.

Food is fine, even good. Service is incredibly rude. The woman who runs the place balked when we asked to move a 2 person table next to a small 4 person table so we could sit 5, including one old person, comfortably. She refused to do it unless we guaranteed that we were going to order a lot of food. We would have ordered a lot, but were so put off that we just left. This is consistent with our prior experience, which is that they act as if paying them money to eat their food is a privilege.

Miyagi, is sub par. Ordered take out omakase it was mediocre the quality of the meat was very low. Safeway sushi or Wegmans would have been a better choice. The lady was also super rude when I ordered. Would not recommend.

Good but not great sushi, given that it’s in the heart of McLean (not a gastronomical mecca) and all of our favorite sushi restaurants closed for one reason or another. The staff could be friendlier; I don’t think I’ve ever seen any of them smile.
