Very fresh and delicious…great service! We enjoyed the mixed vegetables and shrimp tempura (no pic!) for an appetizer. Sashimi…fatty tuna and salmon plus a a serving of eel. We also had the evening’s special sushi roll…excellent! GF soy sauce available, but you need to ask. And on a cold day, I appreciated it was comfortably warm! Thank you!

Udon soup was very bland, missing flavor and vegetables were colder temperature in hot soup which was weird, should have been slightly sautéed. Sushi was good.

Had a great experience at Miyabi! I got the shrimp tempura roll and it was delicious! The fried rice is a bit spicy (if you’re not used to much/any spice!) but it was overall SUPER tasty! We did have to ask for yum yum sauce with the rice- it didn’t come with it, which is different from most sushi restaurants but that wasn’t a problem, they were super quick with it! Super great service, food, and a nice quick walk to licks for ice cream after!

Good Japanese sushi and fried rice food around Minnetonka. Service was great. We ordered fried rice (we asked for no egg customized) and it’s great.

Sushi is a must try. We tried snow crab sushi (6 pcs) and Avocado roll (comes with 6 pcs) and both of them great.

Noon to 5 pm had happy hour and worth the price.

Never disappoints! Birthday dinner and yum yum yummy! Tried some new rolls and old favorites. Snow mountain roll with snow crab… to die for! Another I think was Mt Fuji also fantastic. Tried and true favorites… Dynamite roll and Vikings roll. Of course we had to enjoy a bottle of Nigori Crème de Sake! You can’t go wrong dining here. Portions are large and food is fresh.

Came here during Christmas and got one thing in our order wrong (got edamame instead of pot stickers but that’s ok, they were good anyways). Ramen was good, reminded me on Ichiddo in Minnetonka. My husband loves their bmw roll and I try something new everytime so I don’t have a favorite…yet. Pretty good Japanese place in the heart of excelsior and plenty of parking in the kowalski’s lot.

I am here at least once or twice a week and I can tell you unequivocally the food. The price is the happy hour. Everything about this place is so underrated. I don’t know why more people don’t know about it. I have no vested interest in this business, except to say that they do an amazing job!!Update: April 12 six of us had dinner there. Everything was outstanding. This is the best kept secret in the Twin Cities. I had guests from out of town and they were equally blown away.I was completely suprised at how great dinner was!! I eat sushi all over the Twin Cities, but this place has now moved to the top of my favorites. The portion sizes were well above average. Everything was fresh. The tempura was incredible. The prices are more reasonable than most other places and the service was impeccable. They also have a wasabi bloody Mary that is unlike anything I’ve ever had. Great diversity on the menu. There’s lots to eat if you don’t want traditional sushi.

We stopped here last night on our way home from the cities. They were packed, but the service was outstanding. Our waitress was beyond kind and the food was spectacular. So flavorful. The snow mountain roll was one of the most delicious pieces of sushi I’ve ever had. My teriyaki shrimp was some of the best I’ve ever had and my husband loved the kobe style beef. Loved the atmosphere and the display of the food. 10/10 would recommend.

They don’t seem to understand how reservations work…. Made a reservation for tonight, stood waiting for 45 past our reservation time and then they starting sitting larger parties with later reservation times before us before we finally decided to just leave. 7 other parties were also waiting upwards of 30 minutes. Was taking an additional 45 minutes to get food after being seated – not worth the wait. A woman with a pick up order mentioned she had been standing there an hour already. Don’t go here unless you have a ton of time on your hands and don’t mind standing around I guess.
