I really like the look and atmosphere here. The service was OUTSTANDING! They really went out of their way to take care of us. Its a smoking bar and as an ex-smoker, I didn’t like the smell but I support people’s right to smoke and their decision to allow it. So thats fine by me. The menu had about half the items crossed out. I’d say they need a more talented cook and at least somewhat of a menu revamp. Itd be an awesome place if they did.

So disappointed. We go to Mixer’s quite frequently and have had good food and good drinks. We stopped for a bite and a few drinks. My husband’s fish on the fish and chip plate were 2 tiny pieces and our drinks tasted like they were alcohol free. I ordered a club with Tito’s that tasted like pure club soda and when we got home my husband told me he was charged $15.90 (he never checked the ticket just paid the bill) for a double tall! Shame on Mixers. Not sure we’ll ever go back.

Philly steak sandwich was so greasy that I had to spit it out. The fish and chips the french fries were terrible, the fish breading was terrible. The grouper fish in the breading was okay. The waitress was so slow she complained about her working conditions several times why she was late coming to the table. Will never go back there….

Food was great. I can’t wait to go back for another Philly the way they make it with red peppers. Outstanding. Now, the staff was nice but only one guy to handle the whole floor and they had 3-4 things on the menu that are no longer being served. And it is a smoking bar that did a good job with the smoke, but still smelled like smoke leaving

Food was absolutely disguting, had to ask for refills multiple times was served with flat soda, mozzerella sticks were dry, and rubbery. Chicken tasted freezer burnt, waitress was so close that i could smell her cough drop.

Food not the best. However i was greeted by friendly staff! Atmosphere is great, positive energy. They have a DJ and karaoke night everyday. It’s a nice place closeby.

Very rude and poor customer service… I come here and spend $$$$ And I always sit in the bar one day I came in to this place, It was Saturday and bar was full… I sit on the table and I ordered a drink… And after I saw an available seat in the bar, I close my tab and I moved on to the bar… A very rude bartender called Joey told me that he is losing money out of his pocket because l switched the seat from table to the bar… I find that bartender’s behavior very rude towards customer that spends money in this unprofessional place… by just simply coming here and spending money and
just sitting here in the bar… I don’t know how this bartender still works here… I would never recommend anybody coming here dealing with this rude and disrespectful bartender. I don’t expect five-star service at every bar, but I do expect basic respect—something Joey, the bartender, seems to lack entirely.

From the jump, Joey treated me like I was interrupting his night instead of being part of the reason he has a job. His smug attitude, eye rolls, and condescending tone made it clear he thinks he’s too cool to do his actual job. News flash: pouring drinks doesn’t come with a superiority complex, and bad energy behind the bar kills the whole vibe.

There’s a big difference between having personality and having an ego. Joey hasn’t figured that out yet. I hope someone reminds him that hospitality is part of the word hospitality industry—because right now, he’s just giving “high school cafeteria energy” in a place that deserves better.

Management, take note: your bartender isn’t the main character. Your customers are the reason the lights stay on. I stayed, gave the place another chance, and spent money ordering food for my self and spent more money — despite Joey’s behavior. If management’s reading this: you’ve got staff who represent your brand well. Joey isn’t one of them.

Came in on a Sunday night and there was no server outside but the bartender Joey came to greet us and served drinks and food. He also checked on us to make sure we were ok, def appreciated that. Really enjoyed how laidback the ambience was and hope to be back soon.

Great little local bar and grill! Our server, Dave, took the extra step for my wings to make sure I got em as hot as I could get! Amazing service and awesome dude! If you see this Dave and do your 5 wing challenge that you mentioned, I definitely will come try it!
