Mixed Coffee and Community has good vibes, geeky drinks, and yummy food. My favorite is the Fire bender tea with oat milk. Their coffees, teas, and lemonade are themed after various geeky things like their Loki tea and their Avatar the Last Airbender teas.
For food, they have yummy pan de yuca, turnovers, sandwiches, and ice cream.
It’s a great place to build community and hang out.
All the employees wear masks and are fully vaccinated, so I feel safe coming in.
The place is is owned by an awesome Black-Latinx family! Show them some love.

Such a fun new spot! I got the Savannah Fog and a chocolate chip cookie and both were so tasty! I can’t wait to try more of their drinks and pastries! They also have ice cream great customer service I’ll definitely be back!

Small, minority owned coffee shop in a strip mall with free parking. Friendly owner focused on building community. Lots of seating options (chairs and couches) art on the walls. Some art is for sale. What an awesome place! Great coffee, friendly service, and the owner really has great focus on creating a place for everyone in the community to feel welcome and supported. I’ve only has drinks so far (which have been excellently executed) but I need to come back and get some empanadas (They looked and smelled amazing!) and even more of the fun specialty drinks. Lots of cool geeky themes, throughout I feel like I will be “Working From Mixed” often in the upcoming months. 🙂

My wife and I have been to mixed a few times now and every time has been fantastic! They have such a cool and unique drink menu! Savannah, the owner, is so kind and energetic and greets us with a level of energy that only someone young can muster! And let me tell you what, her mama makes all the food and her cookies are some of the BEST cookies I have ever had, and I consider myself a seasoned cookie connoisseur! Between the excellent drinks, amazing snacks, warm welcomes, beautiful art all over the walls, and the very inclusive atmosphere, Mixed is the place to be! We will continue to make the trip from Marysville often because we love this place!
