I attended Sandbox Sunday for karaoke two weeks in a row and had a great time. Last week, I decided to order food and it was still happy hour so I got the grilled salmon burger and fries and jalapeno poppers with a ginger ale. Food was good and hot. Service was great. If you want comfortable seating, definitely make reservations for the booths. I don’t have friends so I get there early for the free seating.

This bar is absolutely amazing! Whether you’re looking to grab drinks with friends or enjoy some solo time, it’s the perfect spot. The staff is incredibly friendly, and Linda, the owner, is outstanding. She runs a tight ship, ensuring everything is top-notch. Plus, the menu offers a variety of delicious options, including burgers, lamb chops, chicken wings, and other hot foods. With three outdoor patios and much more to offer, it’s easily one of the best bars in downtown Detroit. I highly recommend stopping by!
