This is just a little restaurant located below a daycare or preschool, mostly carry out, however they do have a few high tops with chairs if you want to stay and eat. I got a personal size cheese pizza with pepperoni & sausage and am order of the potato rounds with cheese & bacon, overall it was all good! The pricing is very reasonable and the staff was very nice!

I had the best supreme pizza in Athens delivered, so I can’t comment on service or atmosphere. Forget the national chain restaurants for pizza and show some love to Mitzy Lou’s.
The thin crust was perfect, the sauce was flavorful and obviously not pumped full of corn syrup. Fresh veggies, meat and just the right amount of cheese made this pizza perfect.

BEST pizza in the area in my opinion! Italian and pizza subs were great too! Breadsticks were thick and fluffy, for lack of a better word. . The sauce has a little zest to it. Happy to have found this little pizza gem in Southern Ohio!

This might be my favorite pizza place in Athens right now. If you like Avalanche, keep going there, but for all their myriad of custom pizzas, I find them bland. Mitzi’s serves up a nice cheesy (and greasy) pizza with some powerful pepperoni. That is the basic pizza I use to judge a place by. The crust is also thin and crispy and my last one has a bit of char to the toppings which I liked.

Mitzi Lous has three chairs to sit, o dinning indoors not really an option nor any public/customer restrooms. Clean and no thrills service polite and to the point. 4pts for the sandwich I ordered. I figure the do most of business via pickup or delivery service.

Mixed feelings here. Probably the best pizza I’ve found in the Athens area. Reasonably priced, always hot, generous toppings, and I love their flakey, pastry-like crust.
However, no matter what method I use to order – our order is wrong every single time. Even trying to order online where they have built-in customization options, they just ignore it. Tried over a handful of visits & keep getting the same results. If they could get this right, I would probably be ordering here almost every week.
Unfortunately due to dietary restrictions, I don’t think we can keep coming here if they can’t follow simple modification requests.

This place is a gem to the Athens community. We just moved here last month and have been looking for a place that screams, “eat here, we have great food.”. Well, Mitzi Lous does exactly that. The Mississippi sub is fantastically simple but the flavor is what tops it. The au jous is the best tasting one we have ever had. The chicken bacon ranch sub is a flavor bomb and can feed you for a whole day if you get the 12 inch. They even got a solid thumbs up from our 4 year old over the pizza and my wife and I both tried a bite and agreed wholeheartedly. Support your small businesses but most definitely support Mitzi Lou’s. We will be back and very soon.

I ordered two X-Large pizzas for them and when we got there one of the ladies told my brother that someone had already came in, and claimed that order. Since I paid over the phone, one the ladies said she would redo the order, and apologized. She didn’t have to do that but, she did and, I’m very thankful. I will definitely be a repeat customer. Thanks again, ladies!
