Work lunch! Loved it! It’s a really vibrant and chill place to eat an assortment of real Japanese food and chat with friends. Afterwards we hit up the store for some cool finds.

I love the ramen. So flavorful, so filling. We had the white ramen and the red. The red is nice and spicy. The new mochi donut place is awesome. Cookies and cream and fruity pebbles was so delicious!

Well who knew you could find a little bit of Asia in Plano? I had some really good food(curry) and some great shopping experience. Also never scene an anime card players hall before.

Cool place to eat, food is good, variety it’s ok, seasoning is basic but good. The environment is very relaxed and is right next to the market so once you finish eating you can go shopping or viceversa.

Although this place looks unassuming from outside, it truly is an amazing place once you walk in! I wish I had known about it sooner, I love supporting all of the delicious, small Japanese owned businesses

This place is an absolute GEM. I discovered this place when I was trying to find some authentic Japanese food. It’s a huge grocery store with 4 little restaurants in it. I had a Pork Katsu meal and everything about it was amazing. It was nice, flaky, very fresh, very flavorful and the miso was good! The variety between these 4 restaurants is absolutely insane. The prices were fair for $16 dollars I got the pork itself, a bowl of rice, a salad and miso soup. From the restaurant across I had gyudon and yakitori (for around 13-14 dollars)The gyudon was very tender, the sauce was great. The yakitori sauce was amazing. They also had a little ramen restaurant but I didn’t get to try it.
In this grocery store theres also a little bookstore with a TON of different manga, plushies and other cute Japanese souvenirs.
The grocery store itself had anything Japanese you could want:
Those cream and strawberry sandwiches, pork cutlet sandos, lots of different sushi and onigiri. As well as Japanese candies, chips and drinks!
I was absolutely overwhelmed with how much this place had to offer. When I say this is the best Japanese/Asian market I’ve EVER been to, I truly mean it!!

This food court has fewer options than the one at H-Mart Plano, Jusgo Plano or 99 Ranch Frisco, but that’s due to a focus on Japanese fast casual food. Can only speak for Matsui, but the taste and quality were more than my Western palate expected. Can’t wait to go back and try more.
