Visiting Mithaas in Edison felt like we were transported back to India. The ambiance is typical of a laidback Indian restaurant, the diners were almost entirely Indian, and you could have an entire conversation with the staff in Hindi or Gujarati.

My friends and I visited this place for lunch. The place serves a variety of veg dishes and also sweets. We ordered pav bhaji, sev puri, chole bhature, vada pav and amritsari platter. Best was chole bhature and vada pav. Pav bhaji was bland, amritsari platter has onion kulcha with too much onions. We took sweets too like motichor laddo which were good. Overall a good place and recommended but there are many Indian restaurants close by too to check out.

Always like the food in Mithaas. Until a lot of other Indian fast food places came out, Mathias was the go-to place for us in Edison. We always have a long travel to come here, but we still always visited. Now we do go to lot of other branches, but still I find the Edison branch to be different. I gave only 4 stars due to cost.

Just had one item as I was visiting for the 1st time. Read the reviews to try chat, and it was really very good. I had Dahi bhalla and it had every taste sweet and tangy tamarind chutney , spicy chilly and coriander , sweet and sour dahi(yoghurt). The taste was delicious and just felt like I am eating back in India.

This in my first time ordering at Mithaas Restaurant. First of all I wanted to order over phone but their staff doesn’t answering call. When I went to order in-person their employee are talking to each other, laughing and not looking at customers. Then I ordered Paneer Tikka Masala and paneer came in different color also it was hard to eat. As per my experience food product wasn’t good also customer service isn’t good.
