We were looking for a nice home-cooked breakfast When we came across Mitchell’s I have to say we couldn’t have been more satisfied! They were Very welcoming! They served Fresh coffee refills the entire time we were there! The food was fantastic! I had something called fried dough French toast that was amazing!

Great “Spuds” I’m a sauce guy, that’s Frank’s Hot Sauce on the roast beef hash and ketchup on the spuds, but , I bet, everything is great plain. No need to ask for more coffee, great teamwork.

We used Mitchell’s in Rocky Hill to cater my daughter’s baby shower for a breakfast/brunch at 10am on Sat 10-22-22. The food was very plentiful and tasted great! Roy was very professional and hard working. People loved the breakfast idea as well for having it early still gives people the day to tend to other things, on their day off. Would highly recommend..

First time eating here. What a delight. Fast service and food came out in a timely manner. Food was delicious! The eggs Benedict was awesome. The ham and cheese omelet very good. We liked the medallion cut home fried potatoes. All in all a great little place to eat! Worth a try!

I use to come here after working Night Shift at least twice a week with no issues ordering through the phone and picking it up pretty fast. I knew they were always busy Saturday mornings which is why I would call ahead at least 15-20 mins so I can just arrive and pick up my BEC on a bagel. One morning I go and they said it’s not ready after I had called 30mins before so I said okay I can see they are busy….understandable. I continued to wait another 30mins standing until one of the staff was decent enough to ask why and for what I was waiting instead of ignoring me since she had noticed I was there for a while. I told her my order and turns out they had given it to someone else. This was infuriating because I was hungry and sleepy after working a 12 hour Night Shift. Well she immediately told one of the cooks to stop whatever order they were doing and to make my order since I was waiting for too long. For that I thank that staff member but I have never returned ever since and found another place in Rocky Hill. Their food is good but their service could be better.

What a treat to stumble into Mitchell’s! It’s a hole in the wall from the outside, with just the best breakfast experience I could have asked for inside! Wonderful, attentive staff, quick service, and gracious portions at a great value. I would come back to Rocky Hill just for breakfast at Mitchell’s!
