I feel compelled to leave an update to the review I left three months ago:
When we decided to go out to dinner last night, we didn’t say, “let’s go to our fav restaurant Mistral” or “let’s go there for the awesome food” which are both very true, but we said to ourselves, “We haven’t seen our good friend La in a while and all the wonderful people that work at Mistral so let’s go visit them”.
We got our usual awesome greeting from Donna at the reception stand. Then it was just awesome when La came over and gave us both a big hug and that just set the tone for the entire evening once again. She greeted us with her usual dazzling smile and we spent quite a few minutes catching up. We noticed some new additions to the menu so we went ahead and ordered them and as always, the chef prepared them “exactly” to our liking and I’m a very picky eater- these dishes were absolutely phenomenal and so tasty.
What made this evening stand out amongst all the other ones in the past was that we happen to mention in passing to La that our anniversary was coming up & to our surprise she treated us to a glass of champagne (and she even joined us as well which made the evening even more special) and an anniversary card which totally blew us away. A couple of the other folks that work there even came over and wished us as well. As always, each and every person that came to our table during dinner was just super friendly and welcomed us back again.
Thanks again to La and “every other person” that works at Mistral for turning an ordinary Fri evening into an extraordinary one & for making us feel like family and making this a special EVENING TO REMEMBER !!!

We had another “phenomenal” dining experience at one of our favorite restaurants in Skippack, Mistral at the Hotel Fiesole.
When we entered the restaurant we were given such a warm greeting by the hostess who recognized us right away. Then our favorite server of all time La came over and gave us a big hug and that really set the tone for the entire evening.
After we were shown to our wonderful table by the window overlooking downtown Skippack, La came over and reviewed the specials for us.
For our appetizers we ordered the tomato crab soup, the scallops and the harvest salad which were all extremely tasty. I actually wanted the scallops prepared in a totally different fashion- La and the chef made that possible for me. For our entrees we ordered the crabcakes and Lobster Alfredo. We wanted the Lobster Alfredo prepared in a different sauce and again, La made that possible for us. The word no did not exist in her vocabulary. The best of all was the Nutella crêpes for dessert which were to die for, literally, to die for. Kudos to the chef for “always” creating such fabulous dishes and making them taste absolutely delicious.
We always have an extremely fun/memorable dining experience at Mistral and quite frankly what makes this possible is our favorite server of all time La and her entire team of assistants. She has a sense of humor that is off the charts. Every time one of her assistants came to our table to either deliver the food or clear the table, they had a big smile on their face, they were extremely pleasant and cordial and always asked if there was something else that they could do to make us happy. The service in this restaurant is always “top-notch” and is one of the reasons we keep coming back. It’s like visiting old friends every time we return.
Thanks to everyone especially La for making this another memorable/extraordinary dining experience for us. Can’t wait to return again !!!

Very quaint with great atmosphere. Like every Skippack restaurant though the bar is way too small. Still worth the visit and happy hour.
