We had the beignets, gem salad, salmon & bavette steak.
I reallyyyy wanted to try the beignets but they were more like a dense, circular doughy donut with a slight bit of thick prosciutto and cheese. The sauce accompaniment was cold which was kind of interesting but not maybe the point?
The gem salad 10/10 perfectly crispy and fresh- probably the best part of the meal.
The salmon was paired with a tomato sauce that was so ferrous it tasted straight from a tin.
Bavette steak was good but I would order medium next time bc it was pretty red.
The ambiance was good. The drinks were pretty good. Price to food quality gives it a little less than a 4
The night of the party itself, Christian, Jaden, and Jonathan went above and beyond to make everything perfect. Their energy, professionalism, and attentiveness made us and our guests feel like true VIPs. They created an unforgettable atmosphere that set the tone for such a special night.
We even came back the very next day, and Ashley was so personable and genuine in connecting with us. She added that extra touch of warmth that makes this restaurant stand out.
From start to finish, the staff has been exceptional. The atmosphere, service, and genuine hospitality keep us coming back with great people time after time. Truly one of Princeton’s best!
Come early and be prepared to hunt downtown for parking on a busy night, though!
Honestly though, the Szechuan Wings WILL be the second best if not the BEST Wings you’ll ever have in the entirety of your time on Earth.
Why 2nd? Personally because I’ve experienced an exceptional recipe that would put Master Chefs to shame and we all know everyone is a critic and will say something is better just because. But nothing else besides that compares. Its not close.
Honestly only one thing was mildly disappointing the one time we went and it was some type of seasonal limited time dessert. It wasnt nasty or anything, it was just a texture thing for us. Flavor was good, presentation was good just wasnt for us. Server took care of us and we got one of the main stay desserts.
Perfect Date Night spot. You will want to come back!!
