Be very careful with your order if you’re sensitive to spicy food. Dishes that are traditionally mild/medium are very spicy here. It’s a very unpleasant surprise when you’re sensitive to spicy food. They got me twice in a row with two different items, so I’m just throwing in the towel and won’t be ordering here again. I’m not sure when or what changed because I’ve had both in the past and they were not intolerably spicy (general tsos, as well as garlic chicken). My husband loves spicy food and he even agreed that their level of heat has been kicked up to an unnecessary amount.

food was not good, not fresh. shrimp shells throughout the dish. ordered sweet n sour chicken. they forgot the sweet n sour sauce and the chicken was dry. very disappointed. Will not be ordering from there again! and the audacity of requesting a tip!!!

First allow me to state that I am a BIG Google review participating person, and I enjoy giving credit where credit is due, but unfortunately for Mr. WOK Chinese Restaurant located in Thorndale, Pa., my last interaction was a “Total Train Wreck” regarding my last service order which was conveyed clearly.
On 9/5/25, I placed a very simple order of “roast pork with no vegetables” , which was repeated twice in succession for clarity, but unfortunately this order fell on deaf ears. After driving approximately 20 minutes to retrieve my order, and once there, asking again in person if the order was correct,.. I was reassured by the Asian representative at the counter, that the order was correct. Once I arrived home to enjoy my meal with my wife, the simple order was a completely different selection then what was previously confirmed. Once realizing that the meal was not of what was ordered, I immediately contacted the restaurant to discuss the error that was conducted on their behalf. After politely explaining that a refund is now in order, the Asian representative started “NO REFUNDS”.!!!! After voicing my displeasure with this transaction, the Asian representative now stated that the food order in question needed to be returned to the restaurant In Person. I clearly suggested that a over the phone refund should commence immediately, with her insisting that this will not take place unless it is in person. At this point, I was then compelled in order to drive an additional 20 minutes one way to drop off a food order that I never placed in the beginning, and to retrieve my refund.
I can only surmise that the “In-Person” interaction that was requested exemplifies this restaurants total disbelief that a order was incorrect on their behalf, or reluctant to see if the meal was partially eaten?? Either way, once on location at this restaurant, I immediately expressed my disbelief that disestablishment would compel a customer to return a meal that was prepared in error / and then visibly inspecting its contents to see if any or all parts were returned in its entirety… UNBELIEVABLE.!!?!
At the conclusion of my interaction with this Asian representative at the counter, I was offered by this individual a so-called “Swap Meal & Two (2) Dried up Egg Rolls”, which I immediately declined, and requested a full refund in cash, along with questioning their audacity to have customers prove that the incorrect order was intact….
AGAIN, UNBELIEVABLE BUSINESS PRACTICES.
I truly believe it will be a “COLD DAY IN HELL” before I patronize this business again.

Was hesitant to try this restaurant due to other reviews but very glad we did! Food is tasty and we have never had a problem with ordering. Their steamed pork dumplings are my favorite! Would recommend to anyone in the area.

This is a take out only. That being said, the food is very good and the menu is extensive. The combinations and the specials section are excellent and priced very well. ** BE AWARE** this restaurant, like many others in PA is now charging 3.95% more if you use a card.. ANY card, including a Debit card! This is ILLEGAL in PA and a common mistake that many restaurants are making. I brought it to the attention of the cashier and she told me that they charge the additional percentage rate EVEN on Debit cards. Again, know your rights! Even if a debit is run as a credit card there is still NO to be added! PA law.. keep educating these restaurants that are not complying with the law.

I was in the area shopping and decided to give this place a try, having no clue what to expect. Ordered General Tso’s for lunch and it was good. There are plenty of tables and seats as well.

The food was delivered quickly however over half of it was thrown away. The beef stocks were stringy and inedible, egg in the mei fun undercooked and inedible, also not mei fun noodles, baby corn in chicken in garlic sauce was hard, undercooked, the egg fried rice was so disgusting it went right in the trash. Absolute waste of money. They won’t refund you so go somewhere else.
