Had to give it a try, well a bit pricey for two beef soft tacos was the going rate. But a can of soda almost $3.00. The beef was ok not enough flavor for me. I did ask for hot sauce and they said it was in the bag, I ask for hotter sauce and they said this is their hottest. I like hot sauce that when you put it on your taco you want to think did I put too much on? This stuff was mild at best. I’ll need to go back and try something else because the tacos didn’t do it for me.

Me and my friends have been coming after school and its one of the best places I have ever been to. They always are nice to us and sometimes even give us free drinks and food. Highly recommend the birria tacos.

I moved to Redding from Los Angeles 5 years ago. I’ve gone to every Mexican restaurant trying to find the quality of food ive had all my life growing up in LA. I’ve always been disappointed with the food here in redding. I’ve found some places that are better than others but never a place thats met the level of quality I left in LA. I’ve tried MR Tacos carne asada, Al pastor and carnival and each time I felt like found what I was missing.
I can’t say enough about this place. It isnt a franchise, this is a family owned establishment and the owners cook the food themselves. If youre looking for that mexican food that isnt widely known by everyone in town but taste the best, you will regret not trying Mr Taco sooner. When you do try it, try the meat separately and you’ll immediately know this is the real deal. And youre supporting a legit family business.

Some of the best birria tacos I have ever had, I would say they beat out some fancy restaurants even for flavor. Staff was very friendly. I can’t wait to come back and try more options.
