We LOVE Mister Softee of Manahawkin! It is my boys favorite ice cream shop in town; they ask for it often, but we only allow for it occasionally. The staff is always pleasant, smiling as we enter and upbeat during service. They are attentive and hustle to expedite your order efficiently and accurately. They offer a variety of hard dipped flavors, some of our favorites are the cookie monster, fudge nut brownie and vanilla peanut butter. If you’re looking for your next sweet fix, go there and check it out!

We have declared this the best soft serve in NJ! We drove by and the line was wrapped around the store, so we knew it must be good. We weren’t planning on stopping there, but on our way back off the island, it was almost empty so we decided to try it. So glad we did. It was delicious, and the staff was so friendly. We stopped in less than 10 min before closing but the staff still were friendly and attentive.

I’m not regularly a fan of soft ice cream but this vanilla is delicious. It’s more like custard. The Dole pineapple whip is a real treat too. Everything is clean and organized. And Amelia is a gem! Thanks for a great experience each time we visit.

Great little ice cream place serving top quality ice cream. Scoopers behind the counter are always helpful and friendly. Parking lot is a little on the tight and small side, but it’s manageable. Need an ice cream fix? Give Mister Softee a try! The sugar cones are super tasty! Cherry bonnet is a great addition to any cone.

Hard to find soft serve in the area, decided to try mister softee tonight. The soft serve tasted moldy, as if the machine had not been cleaned properly or possibly contaminated. My husband had cookie monster, the cookie pieces were dry and nearly turned to dust when he tried to eat them. He also stated that the ice cream did not taste fresh. I do understand that it is slow season for ice cream establishments, but this was a very disappointing and disturbing experience, especially since I am now concerned about the small amount of ice cream that I consumed that tasted like mold. We will not be back
