Never failed to please since under the new ownership. Absolutely delicious fish & chips, good-sized portions too & nice staff. I wished we had a chippy as good as ‘Mr Pinks’ in our area. Sadly, most likely, our final visit due to the impending motorhome ban on Saltgrass Lane. A highly recommended chippy though, we shall miss it.

I saw this business has been nominated for The National Fish & Chip Take Away Awards recently so hence travelling to test.
I was not disappointed in the slightest. The fish was hot & good chunks of Cod with a reasonably light batter. The chips crisp & hot with taste. It certainly is up there, all served with a smile. Good luck.

The worst fish and chips I have ever had .it took ages to cook so was very surprised when we started eating to find that the batter was crispy on the outside but still raw next to the fish .
It actually looked impressive at the start very large but the fish was layered so there was no large chunks of fish as you would expect from the outside.it was just a soggy mess of wet fish and uncooked batter.will definitely not go back.

Tasty, albeit slightly pricey, traditional fish and chip shop. Considering the South Coast holiday destination part of the world it’s located, it’s still pretty good value (£23 for 2 x ‘Cod and Chips’, Aug ‘25).
Less than 5 mins drive down to the promenade too, so perfect for being able to eat your lunch by the sea.
Fish was lovely, bright white with light and crispy batter. Plentiful portion of chips.

At last. Until now I’ve had to travel 300 miles back to Michellas in my birth town of Sunderland to find the best real fish and chips. Now I’ve found Mr Pinks. It’s the Michellas of the south coast. Haddock and chips….. Crispy batter, flaky white large fish, chips crisp on the outside soft inside and far less scrappy bits than seems to be normal these days. I think I’ll have to move to Milford on Sea.

Absolutely amazing , harvest enjoyed a fish and chip shop for a long long time and have tryed a lot . There chips were super tasty and the right consistency lovely and soft some crunchy and fish wow there batter was super crunchy and fish was super tasty we had cod and haddock . The portion for the cod bites was great and just what we were looking for and my granddaughter loved her fish cake and last but not least the curry sauce was the nicest I have ever tasted everything was cooked fresh and was delicious thanks so much I was losing hope of loving fish and chips again till my partner on holiday convinced me to try and I’m so glad he did thanks so much for your kind service and A* food

I’ve bought 2 fish and chips but the staff there chargedme extra for a burger. It seemed overpriced for me and when I’ve asked for a receipt the blonde girl gave me £6 pounds with the receipt saying that she charged me by “mistake” extra. I wasn’t happy, I’ve wanted to speak with a manager but no manager was on site. I’m very disappointed! I will never go back here again, also the food wasn’t that great either!
