Phenomenal experience all around. Our server was incredibly kind, happy to split the check for a large party, brought our food out quickly, and struck the perfect balance of attentiveness without hovering. We sat outside in the courtyard, and the atmosphere was outstanding: warm, friendly lighting and a relaxed, inviting vibe.
And the food, absolutely to die for. The burrata is a must, and the pizza had incredible variety and depth of flavor. As someone who’s missed true East Coast–style crust since moving to the Chicago area, this place absolutely nailed it.

Nice experience at Mr.01 in Coconut Grove
We tried Mr.01 for the first time last night and overall it was a very pleasant experience. The pizzeria is located in Coconut Grove, right in the heart of CocoWalk, so the location is definitely beautiful, refined, and atmospheric.
There are outdoor tables in a really nice spot: shaded, breezy, and very comfortable. Sitting outside is especially enjoyable, and it makes the whole experience even better.
The welcome was attentive and friendly, and the service was fast, polite, and well organized throughout the evening.
The menu is the classic Mr.01 menu, with a wide selection of pizzas ranging from more traditional options to very creative and refined combinations. As Italians, we can say that this is not the same pizza you would eat in Italy — but it is absolutely decent, enjoyable, and easy to eat, especially considering the concept.
The beer was a pleasant surprise: artisanal beers brewed by Umbrian brewers, really good and well chosen.
The coffee, unfortunately, is something we would recommend avoiding.
Overall, a nice spot in a great location, perfect for a relaxed evening in Coconut Grove.

1. The first pizza (one on the photo) was really fabulous, definitely worth trying. The pizza bolognese if I am not mistaken, was too salty and spicy. Not so special.
2. The waiting time was excessive, around 40 minutes. We also waited around 15 minutes to have a table; so were quite hungry.
3. The staff came and apologised several times for the delay and offered the chocolate pizza to us for free. Super sweet gesture, and sincere people, we really appreciated the effort.
In general, the food was good, the tables were really clean, the ambiance nice, and the service very good. We recommend!

Had an amazing experience here! The service was outstanding, and our server, Ariana, was incredible. She was so kind, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the pizza, full of flavor and perfectly made. You can really tell they care about both their customers and their food. We will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to others!

Charlie was the best, outstanding experience! The pizza was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. The best pizza I’ve had – I’m in love!! And Our server Charlie was incredibly friendly and attentive, making the whole visit feel welcoming and smooth from start to finish. Easily one of the best pizza spots we’ve been to. Highly recommend and definitely coming back. Asking for Charlie for sure to repeat one of the best pizza time! He set our day off on an incredible positive note!! This place is highly recommend!!

First time went for lunch/dinner, we had the star Lucas, margarita, Italian beer, banana Nutella all very delicious. Arianna amazing server always catering to us. We will definitely come again.
