After hearing such great things about Mr. Fish and being so excited to try it was quite the disappointing let down. I was given the wrong sauce for my clams and my fish sandwich was incorrect. Although the fish tasted great it was cornmeal battered reminiscent of fried catfish and brim and the gritty texture and overly salty taste took away from the flaky cod. The cod pieces also kept falling out of my sandwich and I was only given 1 napkin for my falling& crumbling food. No receipt given on my incorrect order over $20 either.

What a joke!!! My fish is burned! Fries SOGGY! And i got a side of baked beans for 5$ and it came in a dip cup ! 3 bites of beans for 5$! Also, they argue with you about the sauce given and they close before the time they display, when i arrived it was 6:10 pm and we left at 6:20 ish and they were already closing

This is a walk up window restaurant. The seating is outdoor tables. It is an old established restaurant and you should realize this when you go there. This is not fine dinning, but great food.

I tried Mister Fish for the first time & wow! I can see why it’s been a staple in Lakeland for decades. I got the fried fish dinner with onion rings, mac & cheese, & hush puppies. The fish was perfectly fried, crispy outside & flaky inside. I will definitely be returning & I highly recommend!

On a whim, we stopped by to grab lunch at this place during our visit to Lakeland, FL. I ordered Blackened Redfish, collard greens, and fried okra. My wife ordered a fried fish basket with fries, which came with onion rings. The food was ok and we’d try it again, but probably order something else.

Excellent fish and seafood from a take out window. They have 3 picnic tables in the parking lot to eat your food and it is just half a block to the lake where you can enjoy your food watching the swans. The service was friendly and they leave sweet messages on the drink cups

Hey so I did an order over the phone and when I came my food was ready but if a customer asks for ketchup and tartar to go, please give it to them. This is where you are failing. The food was good but who wants fries without ketchup and hustles without tartar? Please improve on this. I spent 24.00+ on lunch and I was not pleased.

Seriously great fish sandwich. One bite and you will know why they are famous in town. Only disappointment was my order was wrong, it was missing fries and coleslaw.If it had been right I would have said 5 stars. It just a great place to grab some food from before visiting some of the amazing parks in town.

They got my order wrong, when I went back and ask them to correct my order they took 1 piece of fish off my sandwich. I ordered a large Mr.Fish it comes with 4 pieces of fish I only had 3 when I got my order back. The bread was super soggy as you can see in the photo. The bun was burnt and with only 3 pieces of fish it wasn’t enough to make a whole sandwich. The fries also have a horrible after taste. The food was not fresh at all! If I could give 0 stars I would. This is why I don’t tip before I get my food. Not worth the money.
