Family outing for some sushi, catch up with family also, 8 of us in a booth. We all fit with kids
Order via the tablet, sushi is nice, just like other sushi trains. They charge by coloured plates, not like edo.
Kids enjoyed their sushi and I enjoyed my noodle dish.

The services were great, it’s a sushi train and they provide an iPad at the seat so you can order what you like. I forgot to take the photo of the iPad. I ordered soy garlic chicken, and some sushi.
Hard ti locate the place, I would recommend finding Woolworth first and park near by and it’s located at the outside of the building.

N9v-2024:
Such a joy to have this Mista Boo sushi place in Forest Lake. The sashimi is super fresh and oh-so-moreish (I love, love tuna sashimi), and is served with a smile. Excellent choices of speciality cooked and other foods on the menu (self-order via screens at your seat/table, with some dishes suitable for vegans), and naturally the large variety of very fresh sushi on the”train” that circles continuously – including lots of vegetarian options. Decent enough selection of beer too. And the fresh Japanese matcha tea is refreshing. As is the matcha tea ice-cream!

We used to love coming here regularly for family meals. Unfortunately on our most recent visit, I discovered that there is no longer a gluten free menu available on the iPad. Gluten free options are now indicated with a difficult to see GF icon, but there are so few options (with all of my previous favourites no longer marked GF) that it takes forever to search for them. In the end I didn’t eat as the GF options were too limited and too similar to make a dinner out of; really just the edamame and plain tuna or salmon rolls, none of the special rolls, bowls or hot items. It also says to contact staff for dietary restrictions, but this is awkward when ordering items continuously for the table from the iPad (even worse if using the train). The rest of the table seemed to enjoy their food, though the quality didn’t seem as good as previously. Service was still good, though again not as friendly or helpful as it used to be. Feeling sad that we won’t be able to have any more family dinners here.

I’m super impressed! This is a great sushi train, and right in my backyard. The sushi was excellent- 4.5 stars overall. The range was great – especially via the tablet on the table. I mostly ate from the train, but did have one made to order roll and it was 5/5. Now I just have to pace myself with visiting so I don’t go broke

Ordered a tempura prawn udon which had barely any taste, subpar in comparison to Sushi Shou’s udon flavour. The uber eats photo advertised 4 tempura prawns would come with the order, instead I received just two. Disappointing, I will not be ordering from here again.

This store was previously a Sushi Today and recently re-opened as a On a Roll Sushi. My partner and I sat at a booth and found it easy to order from the tablet. There is a lot of variety on their menu (sushi rolls, meals and desserts) and customer service was friendly and efficient. We were immediately offered a jug of water when seated and were checked in on, with ordered food arriving quickly.
