We picked the fixed sharing menu for 2 people (meat menu) and didn’t finish it, because some options on it weren’t that great as we expected it to be.
What I did really like was the lamb (badboy seekh), the ribs (sticky goan ribs) and the fried cauliflower (oh my gobi), this was full of flavour.
Staff was very helpful and gave us very interesting information about their concept, it was explained very clearly since she was just starting to work there for a few weeks.
Overall it was a pleasant experience, but I would have to give it a three stars. Quality was great, staff were kind but the food could be a lot better. As I said earlier, I was missing that Indian kick in the dishes. I would come back here to try the other options on their menu but I won’t be ordering the fixed menu anymore. Who knows maybe the other options are better and is the 5 stars worth…
We didn’t reserve a table.
So we started with drinks by the bar.
Then the waitress quickly gave us a table.
Cocktails, foods and desserts are all amazing !!
They have a meat & fish menu, and a parallel vegetarian version, which is a great concept. We tried a good selection of dishes. The absolute highlights were the Mission Fried Chicken — hands down one, insanely good and the Bad Boy Seekh, which was also fantastic. Those two are top picks, no question.
The Bumting Butter Chicken was okay, fine, not mind-blowing. The Mwale Gambas weren’t really our thing, and the BBQ Mushroom Mwale was just fine as well. We had rice and paratha with the dishes, and both were on point.
The space itself is super cool, the design is immersive, playful, very much in theme.
The food came out fast too, which is always appreciated.
We also had the iced masala chai, and honestly, it was amazing. One of the few proper-tasting chais we’ve had in Belgium
All in all, a buzzing place with some seriously good food. Worth going, just be sure to book.
We had originally made two separate reservations and clearly explained multiple times that we did not need to sit together. Despite that, the staff canceled one reservation and changed the other to a single table for eight people without informing us.
Until the time of the reservation, we waited outside in the cold for an hour and then had to wait another 20 minutes inside before anyone even took our order.
When we finally tried to order, we were told that because we were now considered a “large group,” we were required to order from the much more expensive group menu instead of à la carte. This was never communicated to us beforehand—neither when they changed the reservations nor when they handed us the menus.
Overall, the experience felt disorganized and unprofessional, with poor communication and unnecessarily rude service.
The service was also very helpful and kind in general, with one exception that created a mess for us. We were on a business trip and we needed separate receipts, so we asked in the beginning if this is possible. The waitress said yes, but that they can only separate the dishes, not split the price, which was absolutely fine. Unfortunately, when we went to pay, we received a different response. They could not issue separate receipts, but only a single receipt per table. They could only split the amount inside the same receipt, which wasn’t that helpful, as this is against the company rules for reinbursing us…
La cuenta nos salió por unos 18 cada uno, tres personas. El agua mineral subía el precio.
Thanks for the treatment received!!
