I had never been here before. I’ve heard about it from multiple people. I like the place. It was a good atmosphere. It wasn’t very loud and you could hold a decent conversation. The food was pretty quick. It was also good. However, I finished everything that I got and like I was still a little bit hungry so, I don’t feel personally that I got an excellent value for the volume of food versus cost. I don’t like to feel as though I got more than I paid for. It may be due to my expectations being too high so consider that also.

The brisket sandwich is the best thing they have. So so so good.
The ribs are good.
The fries are okay.
The point brisket (fattier part) really good.
The sweet tea is really good
The brisket and baked beans are good.
I forgot to take a picture of the food.
Only downside is portion size and price I guess.

Really wanted to love this place being Vets but there were just too many issues.
1. For a place that is very military friendly they don’t offer a military discount. They do offer VIP club where you get a free sandwich on sign up but you don’t fin that out until you get to the front of the line.
2. The tables where not clean. The trash was overflowing in the garbage cans. Had dirty tips and the container they keep the straws was just dirty.
3. Food was really dry. Was looking forward to the ribs, ordered the 5 bone in rib. And it was almost burn and dry. The corn bread was super dry.
We really wanted to love this place but that was just not going to happen

Brisket, pulled pork, ribs, chicken, turkey. Also wings, salmon, cheeseburger. Two kinds of brisket. Lean is drier with no fat. Moist is very fatty and oily. Seven barbecue sauces on every table to sample which we enjoyed tasting. We ordered lean brisket, 6 oz, on the sandwich and moist brisket as meat only, 8 oz, which comes with good cornbread to try both kinds of brisket and they were definitely different. Employee explained this new restaurant to us while we waited in line. All sides are an additional cost. We added the XL combo with a side and a drink. Nine sides to choose from plus a dessert. Reasonable prices for barbecue. Employees available to help and to clear tables. Military decorations cover every wall. North Ogden’s Mayor Brent Taylor honored on the photo wall.

So YUMMY! Mission BBQ serves amazing food in a fun atmosphere. The employees were friendly and professional. The brisket was amazing, as were the ribs. The cornbread was delicious, the beans were so good. The coleslaw was a little dry for us but still very good. We’ll definitely be back!

Nice clean restaurant, well staffed with friendly people. We got there at opening and they had plenty of people and they worked through orders efficiently.
The pricing is not very straightforward. I got a two meat and had to add a side and drink separately and it was almost 25 bucks. They didn’t upcharge for brisket and the portions sizes were fair for the price.
The food wasn’t very good. I got brisket and sausage with mac and cheese and some corn bread. The brisket was well seasoned, the rub was good, not trying to do too much. It had good smoke flavor. Sadly it was way over cooked. Badly failed the bend test it really just fell apart when handled. The sausage had good flavor but the casing was very thick and I kept having to pull pieces of it out of my mouth because I couldn’t chew it up. The mac and cheese was very heavy almost greasy. The corn bread also was a bit dry even for corn bread.
Nice place but the food falls short which leaves you feeling like you overpaid.

The meats were very very good, it’s nice that they have both a lean and moist option for brisket. They have sauces and they are very good, the jalapeño sausage was yummy and spicy! The ambience is on point, very patriotic, the staff is very friendly too.
Now, the kids meals were a bust, $9.50 for fries and a small mac and cheese it’s not worth it, the fries are not good, pretty soggy.

I don’t think this is 5 star bbq but it’s good for Utah and for being a chain. They are supporters of our active duty military. The food was pretty good, they have a big selection of sauce to try. I got the fatty brisket xxl combo with mac n cheese & cheesy potatoes. It also came with a drink and piece of cornbread. It was a decent price maybe like $24 for the meal. The brisket was tender and had a good flavor, a tiny bit dry, but they were close to closing so that could’ve been why. I would like to go again earlier in the day to give it another chance. It’s good for Utah bbq since there aren’t many good bbq places here. I would go back again.

Absolutely fantastic experience this evening! The staff was friendly and helpful and the food was amazing. We will definitely be back to try more of the menu items. We loved the pulled pork, and the brisket, the baked beans were phenomenal as was the Mac n Cheese. The Cole Slaw was tasty and the sauce selections were the best we’ve had since we were in Memphis! Highly recommend this establishment and cannot praise them enough for supporting our Veterans!

This is the best BBQ in Utah IMHO. Make sure to get the moist brisket, not the lean. The lean brisket is good but the moist is next level. The sides are great and all the meats are fantastic. Even their cornbread was on point!
