This has been on our list of local gems for a while now, and I have to say, 5/5 experience. From the charismatic, friendly, and absolute expertise of the staff, and you can genuinely tell they love their jobs, which is rare to find these days especially in the fast casual dining industry. The food was incredibly delicious, ribs were fall of the bone and so tender. Portions sizes were generous, and for the price and quality, absolutely zero complaints from me! The Mac was amazing, fries well seasoned and cooked great, and absolutely LOVED the decor/environmental feel of the restaurant. I love their mission, and the patriotism is such a breath of fresh air in this world today. I love their entire mission, focusing very much on respecting to those who served (thank you so incredibly much for fighting for this beautiful country of ours & your service ), and Hometown Hero’s who work incredibly hard to keep us safe. Will be back sooner than I am proud to admit (but I am proud)!!! Thank you for coming to my raving Ted-talk of a review.

We had a FABULOUS experience. I have a dairy allergy and the staff there were very helpful in helping me to find options on the menu that were dairy free. The person at the front counter also took the time to let the staff in the back know to be careful with my dairy allergy. We have a hard time eating out because places do not normally care to be so helpful! The atmosphere was perfect. Country music that was not too loud so we were able to sit with our two young kids and chat! Food was delicious and we will definitely be back!

I went there twice during a one week stay in Mentor. Exceptionally friendly service and food cooked to perfection.

Fast food BBQ. Service was excellent! had an employee go completely out of their way to explain how everything worked. what you could choose in certain meals, to the people who had never been there before. we had a group of five. It was moderately busy when we went in, but that didn’t stop the employee from taking the time with our group to make sure everyone understood how to order and exactly what you got. we placed our order, then sat at a table, and they brought it out to us at our table in a timely matter. food was decent. lemonade was great. inside was kind of like a backyard, picnic table, company picnic. it had a bunch of military photos and memorabilia on the wall and in Booths

Service was fantastic as always from a mission bbq. The restaurant was very clean. I was a little disappointed how salty their ribeye was, sadly to the point it was not fully edible.

I tried Mission BBQ today as a birthday treat to myself. I told the girl at the counter I had never been here and she gave me a whole run down of the menu and ordering. I’m very meat picky and she offered me a sample to make sure I would like it. I declined the sample and took her word that the pulled pork was delicious. It absolutely was. It was tender, juicy and hand pulled. No giant chunks and minimal fat, which is just what I wanted. They had 6 different bottles of mouthwatering BBQ sauce on the table to choose from. River, unsure if he’s a manager or not, came to my table to welcome me in and brought me a piece of their strawberry shortcake. That’s when I told him it was my birthday and that shortcake was a lovely surprise! He then went and got me a card for a free sandwich. The food, the atmosphere and the hospitality was top tier! I would highly recommend this establishment for all your BBQ cravings. Thank you!

When I walked in the smell hit me right in the nose I knew it was gonna be good. I ordered the meat sampler and the baked beans delicious. The cornbread delicious as well it’s about time we found a barbecue joint that’s consistent.I even told the workers they did a good job And gave them an applause

I had a great smoked brisket sandwich and the service was great. I could see that management really cared about their employees and praised them for a good job they were doing. I highly recommend this place. You won’t regret the food or service being top notch!

My husband is a veteran & we love this place for the way they honor those who serve(d) in the military and are First Resoonders. We moved to SC five years ago but always stop in whenever we are in Lake County for BBQ & mac/cheese that is every bit as good as down South! The workers are always so friendly & respectful. A special thanks to Amber who spent time talking to us & brought us a complimentary dessert! Nice meeting you, Amber!
