My bestie and I ate here for my birthday and Kim Laila, and Angie really made our whole experience. I don’t think I’ve ever been treated so kindly in a restaurant before. Laila was so helpful explaining the menu to my friend who never been, and was extra accommodating and attentive with our order! Angie was a doll making sure we had everything we needed once we got our food. And dearest Kim was such a friend to us, we’re from out of town and she was willing to give us all the juicy details on the community of Bradenton giving us pointers for when we prepare to come back! Over all such a positive experience I recommend mission bbq to anyone and everyone. We have a location up north and they’re also the nicest people ever. The company clearly cares deeply and it shows. Also helps the food is DELICIOUS.

I stopped in at the Bradenton site today on my way to Sarasota all because Angie introduced herself to me at a Gold Star Families event in Tampa and encouraged me to visit her store the next time I came to Bradenton. Had some good BBQ and had the opportunity to meet Marcus, the new GM. If you’re in the vicinity of this store or another MB , stop in and have some good food and learn a little about the sacrifice of our military and 1st responders. Thanks Angie & Marcus!!!

Good BBQ spot for sure, brisket and sausage were tasty, sides were good as well, it’s a walk up joint so hard to “rate” the service, but the cashier was friendly. Cool ambience.

I had a fantastic experience at Mission BBQ in Bradenton, FL thanks to Angie! She was an amazing cashier—friendly, attentive, and incredibly professional. She handled the food with great care and made sure everything was perfect with our order. The service was outstanding, and the food was absolutely amazing. Angie truly made our visit special. Checked out Mission BBQ with my dad after some shopping in the area & my sister saying it was her favorite place, they both live locally & I am visiting from Boston. As soon as we walked in, Marcus, greeted us with the most positive, upbeat attitude. You could just tell he really loves his position. He very clearly broke down the whole menu for us, as it was our first time in, and said we could sample anything we wanted before ordering, (what place lets you sample the food first!) He went on to further explain everything is made in house & they check the food multiple times a day for quality.
We ended up ordering one of the combo meat plates with the brisket & pulled pork, a side of fries, and baked beans. To say the food was out of this world would truly be an understatement. Everything was so fresh. They had 6 sauce options on the table, but honestly the pulled pork was seasoned perfectly that it didn’t even need sauce!
Marcus told us that as part of their experience they like to bring over some extra sides for people who haven’t been in before so they can try them, but he seriously went above & beyond. He brought us one of every side & the desserts, as well as a little bit of the pulled chicken, turkey, & assorted sausages!! I honestly had to stop myself from eating because I just couldn’t put my fork down! Before I was even over at the counter to ask for a few to-go containers, Marcus already had everything prepared for me as I approached, and jokingly said he was expecting me.
Overall, Mission BBQ gets 10/10!! Marcus & the whole team really did an amazing job making our first experience memorable, and I can’t wait to go back when I visit again in June!!

Ordered a chopped brisket sandwich with a side of Mac & cheese.
While the Mac & cheese was good, there was so much salt in the brisket sauce I felt like a cow lacking a salt lick out in the field.
Can’t imagine a chf needing to add that much salt to the sauce intentionally so maybe somebody thought they were adding salt.
Seriously, I filled a water glass three times during my meal in an attempt to offset the impending sodium shock.

I wish I could give it more stars as they deserve it!!! The staff was amazing and service was the best! The BBQ was very delicious and cooked to perfection. The BBQ was bursting with flavor with every bite and the best way we ended out meal was with the delicious desert like the banana pudding….Wow!!!

I love Mission BBQ especially the Bradenton, FL location on 14th Street W (Cortez road)! The atmosphere, food, and service never fails! The crew this morning (specifically at 11a on the dot) were so nice and welcoming! Mike was very generous and was able to help me decide what size portion of green beans I should select for a funeral, all in all he was very patient with me and my indecisiveness lol! I also appreciate the gentleman that brought the box to my vehicle, that was very kind and he was so polite! Really all the staff this morning were very polite; from the young lady at the register to the cook in the back!! I appreciate you all, thank you because a smile and kind hearted people goes a long way!!!

Sweetest people to serve you, my family was in town to visit family. My son dropped his coleslaw and an older gentleman there went above and beyond to give us amazing service. I wish we would have gotten his name, you can tell his genuinely loves his job and giving a great atmosphere for the people they serve !!! We love mission bbq so we had to stop by, the pulled pork sandwich’s always hit the spot and are so juicy. We will be back when we come back into town. This place is so underrated it’s the best bbq anyone can get.
