Joe and Cathy gave us the best service and food we had ever had . The food was very delicious. Everything was cooked. Perfect. The brisket was delicious and juicy. The ribs were falling off the bone well smoked not overcooked. My Wife had the shrimp 10 out of 10. Everything was delicious. They came to the table with a bunch of Free sides because it was our first time here bless us with amazing service explained about the company. This has to be some of the best service I think I’ve had in Tampa Florida. The sweet tea is to die for as well. Something very very special. I’m about to try to lemonade right now. I’ll come back here again and again. They brought coupons so we can get free sandwiches the next time we come. These people are definitely great with hospitality and customer service. I pray that they be prosperous. before I forget to say the cornbread was something different to die for for sure. If you’re in this side of town in Riverview, you need to stop in this is a must!!

My mother and I came in for the first time and were treated with so much hospitality. Cathy was so kind and explained the top menu items to us and let us try some so we could make sure we liked everything. Neil was our line cool and knocked it out of the park. Mission BBQ has great customer service and kind employees. We will definitely come back.

The food, service, and atmosphere were great! I really enjoy BBQ and have tried a couple of other local spots nearby. When I saw Mission opened up in the area I wanted to try their food. The staff was very welcoming & pleasant with their service, the place is very nice to dine in despite me ordering takeout, and the food was incredibly delicious. That familiar smell walking in followed me back home with my food. So much flavor in their brisket, Jalapeño sausage, mac & cheese, green beans, and cornbread which cartied a nice consistency. As a first-time visit bonus, I was offered blueberry cobbler which was really good & rich! I highly recommend eating here.

The mac and cheese was creamy, the cornbread soft and sweet, the fries had that perfect crunch, and the cheesy potatoes? YUMMY doesn’t even begin to cover it! The vibe is warm, patriotic, and full of heart—a great place to enjoy good food with a great mission. We’ll definitely be back!

This was my first time eating at Mission BBQ and it was an outstanding experience. The food was excellent, but what really made the visit memorable was the service from Morgan.
When she heard it was my first time, she brought out a sampler tray of side dishes so I could try them. Everything was fantastic. When she found out I was taking some food home for my fiancée, she even brought an extra cornbread and a BBQ sauce sampler for her to try — completely unexpected and incredibly thoughtful.
Morgan went above and beyond to make my first experience great. Customer service like that is rare and deserves recognition. I’ll definitely be coming back.

It was my boyfriend’s and I first time here. After a long day, we were looking for a great dinner spot to spend a good time together and eat real good food!! And boyyy it was the best decision we made to come here at this location! I really liked the sweet potato mash, Mac and cheese, cheesy potato’s, ribs, burger, banana pudding and so much more was all delicious!!! The lady who was there was soooo sweet and made our first time amazing! The hospitality was great and the whole atmosphere felt like home. We really liked that there was a mission to our bbq how it gave recognition to all of the those who gave their service to protect our people, country, and community !!! ❤️❤️❤️

My experience at this location was beyond amazing. The food was perfect from the meats, sides and desserts. One thing that truly made the experience special for my family is Cathy. She was a complete gem. She treated us so well, just like family. I had to ask for a hug afterwards. The food was good enough to bring me back but the service Cathy provided and how special she made us feel cemented us as life long customers. Cathy deserves all the blessings and more.

My mom and I had a wonderful experience at Mission BBQ! Kathy and Joe went above and beyond to make sure my celiac meal was safe, even bringing us samples of sides and a dessert I usually miss out on. The entire meal was delicious, and it felt so nice to enjoy authentic food without worry. Definitely worth coming back when I want to skip cooking for the night thank you again for such great service and care!

Tried Mission BBQ last week for lunch. I went with the brisket since I don’t eat pork and wasn’t in the mood for chicken. The brisket was decent – not bad, but not mind-blowing either. What really stood out were the sauces – tons of great options to choose from. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff was super friendly. Overall, a solid spot and I’d definitely recommend checking it out.

Because of her we will definitely be back. The food is good. But the portions are very small for the price you pay.
