Proudly Serving Those Who Serve, we honor and give back to our Uniformed American Heroes—Police, Fire, First Responders and our Military. Mission BBQ at Town Center is amazing! The food is great and the service was above and beyond with Michelle being an incredible hostess. Michelle made my GF and I feel welcomed and we thoroughly enjoyed our first time there and will be coming back. Hailey (manager: sorry if I messed up the name spelling) was amazing as well and told me about the Mission BBQ VIP program and helped me navigate that and I look forward to adding my piece of military service to the wall as well.

Jason and the whole closing squad were absolutely amazing. I got there right before close, they did not rush me, accommodated me and made me a fresh new batch of shrimp to go in my 3 way plate! The brisket, shrimp and pulled pork were cooked to perfection, juicy and yummy.
The team was polite, knowledgeable and professional. The decor honored our beloved Veterans and I truly appreciated the experience!

My daughter decided she wanted to eat at Mission BBQ with her friends for her birthday. This restaurant is perfect because the choices are kid friendly, the service was quick, and the food was fresh and hot. To add to the great experience the staff was amazing: the manager, the cashiers, the meal prep line, the cooks, and floor staff.
I highly recommend this location. Again, they were pleasant, inviting, and very accommodating. Thank you all so much for a wonderful experience!

I just had the most amazing experience at Mission BBQ. Even though I’ve driven by many times during my extended stay in Jacksonville, this was my first visit, and I’m so glad I finally stopped in.
Right from the start, the staff was incredibly friendly at the counter. The prices are more than reasonable for the quality and amount of food you get. I ordered the brisket, and it was cooked to perfection, tender, flavorful, and truly top-notch.
What really stood out to me, though, was the atmosphere. As I looked around, I was deeply impressed by the restaurant’s dedication to the military and first responders. There are patches and memorabilia from all branches of service displayed throughout, creating a sense of pride and honor.
I happened to be there just before noon, and what happened next completely blew me away: at noon sharp, they played the National Anthem, and the entire restaurant stood up. As a veteran and a proud patriot, it was genuinely emotional. The level of respect and patriotism in that moment was powerful, and deeply appreciated.
I honestly can’t say enough good things about this place. I’ll be back as often as I can. Thank you, Mission BBQ, for an incredible meal and an even better reminder of what makes this country great.

Mission is a chain, which is why I avoided it for so long. What an unfortunate mistake that was: they serve darn good BBQ & sides and feature excellent service. In fact, service is the entire foundation of this veteran-owned restaurant. Active duty military, vets, and first responders are the focus, which is reflected in the decor: patches, fire helmets, military challenge coins, and flags adorn most of the walls.
The food is very reasonably priced and of very high quality. The pulled pork was my favorite: moist bits and shreds of delicious porcine pleasure. The wide selection of sauces at every table are barely needed as this is high quality ‘cue, with just the right balance of bark and moist. The jalapeño cheese sausage was another winner, best I’ve had since Kreuz Market in Lockhart TX. Another winner were the greens, which were so flavorful that vinegar was no longer necessary. Our feast was rounded out by some succulent moist brisket, which was too flavorful to be sauced. In terms of other sides, kudos to the beans and excellent slaw.
Finally, a shout out to the wonderful Michelle, a Chicago native whose pride in her workplace was understandable and who made us feel so at home

The food was amazing.Had the pulled pork sandwich, soooo good !!! Florida gator bite sauce was fantastic ,my new favorite and the Tupelo honey heat !!!! The staff was nice. The manager was very nice, told us all about the place. We will definitely be back . And free desert for veterans.

Amazing food, friendly and attentive staff. This is seriously the best pulled pork sandwich I’ve ever had it keeps me coming back here again and again. There is never hard fat or anything nasty, the meat is seasoned so well I don’t even use sauces it’s THAT good. Highly recommend.

I’ve had Mission BBQ before at a buddy’s wedding and really enjoyed it — the food was great for a catered event, which made me excited to visit the actual restaurant. Unfortunately, the in-store experience didn’t quite match up.
The sausage and brisket on my 3-meat platter were solid — flavorful and well-cooked. But the salmon was extremely fishy and old tasting, to the point that I couldn’t eat it. That really threw off the meal and didn’t finish it.
I know Mission BBQ can deliver quality food, but the inconsistency between catering and restaurant quality was disappointing. Hoping it was just an off day.

We catered a small family Christmas dinner. Very helpful in placing the order. The food was terrific. Both chicken and brisket were cooked to perfection. We had the Mac n cheese which was best we’ve ever had at a restaurant. We definitely will be repeat customers.
