Went here on Christmas eve for lunch. It did not disappoint. Our first time here and everyone was in a very nice. They ended up giving us a complimentary brownie and free sandwich coupon! I am a veteran who didn’t know about Mission bbq reward program for vets, for all vets that may have been eating there the whole time missing out on their great program that I am now part of please sign up. Definitely worth it, once I signed up and made a purchase I was rewarded a free sandwich that quick! Not only am I happy about the program, the food is delicious and the people are dope fr, great energy among the employees. I definitely recommend all to taste the flavors of Mission BBQ!

My fiance and I came in with about 20m close to closing. Immediately I was greeted by Ka’Liem and Simone at the register which was nice considering we came so close to closing time. They offered us samples of the pulled chicken (AMAZING btw) and helped us pick out our meal. The apple cobbler wasn’t extremely sweet but was sweet enough. 10/10. Ms Grace took care of us at the table and was very attentive to our needs. The night staff had a great atmosphere among them and as a customer, I can feel it. I didn’t feel rushed at all and they let us eat in peace. Will definitely be coming back more often

The food is great but every single time we go at night, they have terrible attitudes!! How are you mad at me because I requested a side with no breadcrumbs and you proceeded to give me that side with breadcrumbs. Yes I am going to speak up, this isn’t a $10 meal so I am asking for what I requested at the register. Work on your attitude if you want to serve the public. This is our 3rd time in a row going and someone has a damn attitude. The Virginia Beach location is TOP TIER!

We stopped in to mission bbq today for lunch and have never been here. I’m so happy we tried it out. The food was absolutely delicious, so much flavor and variety of sauces I got a pulled pork sandwich with slaw homemade Mac-Cheese and baked beans. Everything from the staff l, the environment very clean and the food was excellent I’ll definitely be back

The online menu photo of the brisket versus what I actually got, smh.. see photos. Even with its very GREY hue I still tried it and it definitely lived up to its color. At minimum I expected a bit of smoke flavor but unfortunately not the case. I don’t understand why they’d serve that to anyone.

Wow. Amazing flavor. Brisket sandwich is something to write home about. Cool atmosphere and super friendly staff! This place is outstanding and the prices were too at around $20 for two people!

There food is great and service is very friendly. also once I was getting done with my lunch one of the servers came by bought over a dessert to thank me for my service. In all my years of service in the military that has never happen and I do appreciate it thank you.
