This is the BEST BBQ anywhere around! Absolutely love that this is a veteran owned restaurant. The food is delicious, properly and freshly prepared using high quality ingredients. I had the NC style pulled pork bbq sandwich and mac n cheese with pulled pork bbq. Oh my goodness!!! The portions are large and the food is delicious. The person with me had the bbq chicken sandwich with a side of baked beans and mac n cheese. Portions are well worth the money and prices are very reasonable. The decor is dedicated to all of our military with a nod to first responders and police officers. They don’t offer traditional table service. However, we did a lady check on us twice to make sure we didn’t need anything and that everything was good. The owner/manager also stopped to check. I cannot say enough about how immaculately clean this restaurant is. Every surface is clean and you can tell they take cleanliness and food safely seriously. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. If I could give it 10 stars I would. Good for singles, couples, small groups or anyone just looking for a good meal. Every day at lunch everyone stops and stands or salutes for the National Anthem. I will definitely be back, will recommend this restaurant and would use them for catering. Go by and try it for yourself. You will not be disappointed!!!!

Rather than making us feel self-conscious for needing a minute to figure out our order, the team was swift to offer little samples to help us make up our minds with no fear of regret! I loved my jalapeño & cheddar sausage with cheesy potatoes and my mom loved her brisket. The staff was welcoming and friendly. We will return. So yummy!

Our first time to Mission we moved to area almost 2 years ago from Texas. The food was wonderful, the atmosphere and people were so nice. We have brisket, turkey, and ribs all so good. Collard greens, Mac and cheese, fresh cut fries, and corn bread. Sweet teas and cobbler. All yummy and 6 different sauces on the table. The restaurant Mission is dedicated to service men and women the decor pieces donated by customers. Such a wonderful place. I cant wait to go back to try the sausage.

Always good food and wonderful people. Everyone stands for the National Anthem at noon. The people working here are always welcoming and seem to enjoy working here. Love being able to choose and try several different barbecue sauces. I almost always get their pulled pork and mac and cheese.. it never disappoints.

Passing thru, googled and stumbled across Mission BBQ.
Easy online ordering, and food was ready within a few minutes for pick up.
Walked in, was greeted by a very friendly staff who showed me what I’m getting.
Ordered the 2 piece sampler which cane with a drink.
I had the lemonade which was good, not too sweet.
The two meat sample was also good, moist and the ribs had that ” tenderism ” fall off the bone.
Would definitely try more of the menu items the next time Im passing through so I can give 5 star.

Cannot recommend this chain or location enough!!! Incredible food for reasonable prices. The staff is extremely kind and friendly. For anyone gluten free, super easy to order and safe! Just let them know when you place your order and they will happily change gloves, prep separately, even clean the scale. Can’t wait to come back!

so my five year hiatus officially comes to an end today at Mission BBQ. I went in and got the same thing from five years ago a pulled pork sandwich, But what I really came back for was the sauce to go with the sandwich ;). The lady who rang me up, was very gentle, very kind and understanding,The gentleman behind the counter provided me with all six in cups and the generosity his gratitude like they know what they do over there. If you’re just passing along Winchester VA you need to stop by here .but the customer service was just through the roof. they’ll know I’ll be back that’s the type of gratitude that makes spending 15 bucks all worth it. My guy hooked me up with all the sauces(and some) and again that customer service you don’t get that every day I for one do appreciate that And the hard work they put in for us customers. 10/10.

Walked in here and was immediately greeted by the staff in the back. Because of how the store is set up you order in the back and then they will call your name to pick up. Plenty of seating in and outside. First timers and the staff told us how to order as well as recommendations. We tried a little of everything and the food was amazing. Nicely smoked and grilled. Favorite was the brisket and ribs, so tender it fell off the bone. One thing I love about this place is the accompanying sauces and spices. They told us that none of the meats are ever frozen, they have no freezers and everything is prepared same day.
Great customer service, food is flavorful and the setting a great for a casual lunch or dinner. Added pro is that this place screams AMERICA. great supports of veterans. You can tell by the pictures, slide show etc that this place gives back to those who served. I would come back here again.

Mission BBQ was absolutely phenomenal at our wedding! Tracy and her team went above and beyond to make everything perfect, they were organized, professional, and so well-prepared from start to finish. The food was superb: delicious, fresh, and exactly what we hoped for. Every guest raved about how flavorful everything was, and the team served everyone with such warmth and genuine smiles. It made the whole meal feel personal and full of heart.
What really stood out, though, were the thoughtful touches. Tracy’s team didn’t just serve and clean up flawlessly, they even packed a special bag of leftovers just for my husband and me so we could enjoy the food later, which was such a sweet surprise. On top of that, they left us a handwritten card that was so kind and thoughtful. It’s rare to find a catering team that puts this much care into every detail, and Mission BBQ truly exceeded every expectation. We couldn’t recommend them more!
