This may be the happiest group of team members I have ever met. From the moment you walk in, the people that take the order, cooking the food, setting up the food for when your name is called and the associate assisting customers at the table. Everyone is smiling happy and providing outstanding service. Congrats to the hiring manager and trainer too. The food is very good and the Moist Beef Brisket is excellent. So are the fries and mac & cheese. The restaurant is clean and very well maintained. I highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic experience! It would have been Five Stars for the food alone but the customer service was above and beyond. We chatted with Dallas quite a bit, who was wonderful to talk to, helpful, and accomodating. She was great! We’ll definitely return any time we’re in the area.

First-time visit for my relative. I ordered the 3 Meat Sampler (Brisket, Pulled Pork, Jalepeno & Cheese Sausage), and excellent Black Plate Special (shrimp). Mac and cheese, baked beans, green beans, collard greens, and sweet potatoes are the sides that I always recommend.

We had an amazing experience, and a big part of that was our waitress, Breyele. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely pleasant throughout our visit. She checked in at just the right times, made sure everything was perfect, and made us feel truly taken care of. Breyele is a real asset to the restaurant and an absolute pleasure to have as a server. We’ll definitely be back and hope to be seated in her section again!

Just moved back to the area after having lived in the heart of Texas barbecue country for the last ten years. Still few and far between for great selections around here, and I was hesitant to try a chain restaurant. Have to say I was pleasantly surprised by our meal tonight because of the standard we’ve grown accustomed to, thanks for a great experience. Shout out to Dallas for making us feel welcome as well, love the attention to customer service! My only wish would be for pickles and onions available in the self serve area and MAYBE lids for the self serve barbecue sauce to sneak some home with leftovers. Thanks for stocking Big Red too, felt like we were back in Texas for dinner tonight! Hope to see some free Lone Star in a cooler outside when the summer lines start! (Inside joke for Texans transplants, I know Maryland would never allow that ;-p)

I go here almost daily to eat, the staff knows me personally now and treats me like family. Nothing but good things to say about this location. Extremely friendly staff, always clean and lively inside. Food is great. Management is on point. hands down best place I have been to in a long time! I was greeted immediately with friendly faces before I even closed the door behind me. The food was absolutely delicious! While getting my food I do believe the guy at the counter could tell it was my first time and made me feel so good and special. Even though you place you order your food and pick it up they have a lovely lady walking around making sure that you are good and feel at home. I can say the only reason I came is because I was gifted a gift card to this place, but it definitely wont be the last time I come in. Absolutely amazing atmosphere and again the food DELICIOUS, everything looks and taste fresh like grandma just made me a nice home cooked meal. Would 100% RECOMMEND
