In a relentless search for a new Happy Hour spot, Mission Ave Bar and Grill moved to the top of the list, enticing me with a $20 discount on my first visit. With Happy Hours every day of the week they set themselves apart. With some healthy and delicious options on the Happy Hour menu they again scored an advantage. The Shrimp/Octopus Cocktail was unique and fresh. The Salmon Poke Wonton was delicious and a great value. All drinks $2 off in the bar is pretty standard. But HALF PRICE Cocktails and Beers out on the patio is a super special deal! They have a nice selection of local micro brews and on my 2nd visit I tried a 1/2 price Espresso Martini that got the job done. The bartender was very helpful and Jordan, the waitress, was friendly and efficient. I may have found my new Happy Hour spot!

This is a really nice place in downtown Oceanside. Huge selection of beer and other drinks and a nice food menu. I like the zucchini Spears during happy hours Which is 4 to 6 on weekdays.
Even though I said happy hour this is a nice place to visit. The server is always friendly and ask if you want to have a heat lamp turned on if you’re sitting on the outside patio.

Kelly was great! She made our midnight dinner extra fun.
Although she needs to try a JaggerBomb due to the fact that it is the best shot ever. Lol.

Love visiting here for late night did and tasty craft cocktails. Perfect was to end the night after work. The Fried chicken salad , truffle fries and Asian style wings were great.

Delicious food open late in Oceanside! Low lighting and spacious seating makes for a perfect place to grab a bite and chat all evening. The ribeye steak had a delicious sear and all my veggies came out perfectly cooked. The mango-tamarind squid was so tender, probably my favorite bite of the whole night. Super accommodating and friendly service as well.

I recommend to NEVER order food to go from this facility. I have lived down the street from Mission Ave for 4 years and love going there. However, tonight my husband and I placed a to go order from the restaurant. When my husband got back with the food order, we realized that my ribeye entree was completely wrong. I asked to add a sub side salad for an extra 2 dollars. However, it never mentioned that all sides would be removed with this option. The side salad was about 4 pieces of lettuce and finding out that the sides were not with it plus the steak was cooked for so long it was black was very disappointing. The entree cost us $34 dollars but honestly should have been $10 dollars for the charred meat and very tiny salad without sides. I am so sad as I do love this restaurant but not being able to speak to a hostess about this issue as their phone system said that the restaurant is not taking calls just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I will NEVER order to go again and really debate if I want to eat in person again.

Third time here and all the staff are fantastic! Everything I’ve tried has been perfect! They have a killer regular and happy hour menu, and Happy Hour is also on WEEKENDS!! Thankful I gave this place a try!
