The Bún Bò Huế was actually pretty good—better than other places I’ve tried in Tucson, including other Miss Saigon locations. However, the chicken wings were just okay. The outside was a bit too hard, although the inside was fine. I also didn’t enjoy the sweet chili sauce; it didn’t quite match my Vietnamese taste.
Overall, I’d say the Bún Bò Huế is worth coming back for, but the chicken wings weren’t for me. Since this was my first visit, I’d like to come again to see what other dishes might be good. Based on my Vietnamese taste, some items here seem great, while others are just average.
First and foremost, the food is consistently excellent and the restaurant is meticulously clean. I’m a big soup lover, and pho has become a cornerstone of my comfort foods. Miss Saigon always delivers. It’s also one of the few places where I can reliably find truly delicious Vietnamese coffee, made to perfection.
I frequent the Broadway and Craycroft location most often (it’s closer), but also because the staff’s professionalism genuinely stands out. Most restaurants have polite, courteous service, but here it’s noticeably above average. It’s not something I usually prioritize when choosing a place to eat, but it’s a welcome touch. I especially appreciate how attentive they are about keeping my water refilled.
Because I’ve eaten here so often, I’ve had the chance to meet many of the people there, including the owners and their two sons. The Ma family is incredibly warm and generous, and that spirit clearly shows in how they run the restaurant. Their sons are respectful, hardworking, and take their roles seriously without any hint of entitlement. It’s genuinely gratifying to support a great restaurant that’s backed by such a terrific family.
Eat here. Make it a recurring stop. Thank me later.
Grabbed the 21 large again and it was just as good as the first time I had it. The food here is genuinely fresh. You can taste it. This isn’t reheated, sitting-in-a-tray food. Everything comes out like they actually care about what they’re putting on the table.
Miss Saigon is the one I keep going back to. That says everything. If you haven’t tried it yet, just go.
Stop reading reviews and go eat.
Maybe it is my European standard speaking, but the spring rolls are double in diameter compared to what I am used to.
Everything was really tasty and nice, including the place itself and the service.
Highly recommended!
