Stopped at this TA for the day and decided to give Miss J’s a try. Sooo glad I did. The diner is really nice. Got the 10 oz steak, medium well with a side of mash and hash browns as well as the fried Mac and cheese bites.
The prices were fair and the food was delicious, the service was excellent. Tristyn is amazing and easily one of the best servers I’ve had in a long time. She very attentive and checked in regularly. The chief certainly knows his way around a kitchen. I typically order medium well every single time no matter where I’m at and it always comes out in different degrees of juiciness/tenderness. Easily one of the best steaks I’ve had in a minute.

As an OTR Trucker, I rarely have time to eat but today I had time and decided to checkout this TA Express and the restaurant, Miss J’s which has to be independent of the TA Express. A menu was posted at the entrance doorway so I glance at it and decide to give this place a try and very glad I did! My waitress was Alexis with a sweet disposition and a sense of humor! I chose the Veggie Omelette with shredded hash browns with onions (translucent & perfection) with Wheat toast. Oh! They have REAL BUTTER! I’m not a big eater and the food portions were very generous and I hate to waste food but I could not eat all the hash browns, too much for me when the omelette was super stuffed with veggies and garnished with parsley. Presentation was beautiful! I was so impressed with my meal thati discussed with Alxis about the Cobb Salad and ordered one “to go” with Blue Cheese Dressing. I can get two meals out of that. The dining room was very clean and thankfully, NO TELEVISION NOISE! I hate TV’s in restaurants. My experience was very good and I definitely will return. I was impressed they locally source their meats. Got a BIG APPETITE than this is the place for you. I wanted to try the cheesecake by maybe next time. I’m sure that I will sleep good tonight with my belly full. May God bless this small business.❤️

We wanted breakfast food and did not want ihop. We ordered the all American breakfast and coffee.
The eggs were cooked well, the potatoes were crispy and had onions and peppers in them. Best potatoes in a restaurant I’ve had so far in FW. Coffee was good restaurant type coffee, 10x better than ihop, not as good as Cindy’s diner.
We had GREAT service from Ami Lu.
We recommend Mrs. J’s for breakfast foods.

Warm and friendly greeter sat us at at table instantly. The waitress was just as friendly and professional. The food was hot, fresh, delicious and decently priced. Will drop by again if I’m ever around.

Great place for a warm meal and exceptional service ! Ana sets the bar for any server I have ever crossed paths with, I’ve even had nice conversations with the management here as well. They do a very good job of making you feel right at home even though you find yourself 600 miles away. And highly recommend the BLT sandwich.

Ordered to go and was greeted with a wonderful smiling waitress. Went and walked around the store to wait and she even came and delivered my food to me as it was done a little earlier than expected. I’ll definitely be coming back here as I frequently come thru this area to deliver. Food was amazing as well!

Got stuck here for a weekend at ta express. Wasn’t happy about it but I must say it was a good place to do a weekend. Miss j’s was as good as it gets on the road. Great service, great people, great food and reasonably priced. I highly recommend miss J’s.

Second time back since TA bought the building and I must say this time around was f”so much better. I came when they first opened back up and they were working out A-LOT of kinks. But, my most favorite waitress EVER and the whole reason I come out this way anymore, Ana, talked me into returning and I’m glad I did. I choose the ribeye steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. All perfect. The steak was cooked perfect and the green beans had so much flavor. I would have returned anyways to see my favorite waitress, but now I know I’ll still be enjoying a great meal, like I have been for the past 5 years!

Terrible food. The hamburger steak I ordered reminded me of the Luke warm gravy on a burger from Hardee’s. The fries weren’t cook fully and all without a single grain of salt. It’s not worth the time or energy coming in here for food when there is some bag of chips in the TA.
