Miss Crispy Rice is an absolute gem. We went for Miami Spice and were blown away — the quality of the seafood was excellent, and the menu was truly special (they even had a dish with Uni, which is rare for Miami Spice). The team was very accommodating, happily switching out a plate since we don’t eat bone marrow. Service was exceptional, and the owner himself took care of us with such knowledge and warmth that it made the whole experience feel personal. The restaurant is also very wheelchair accessible, which we greatly appreciated. We will definitely be back!

Went for Miami spice dinner. First omakase and it was a 10/10 experience. Great service, great vibes, and the best crispy rice I’ve ever had (lives up to its name). Definitely on the pricey side normally (like all omakases seem to be) but the experience is fantastic. I tried flavor combinations I’d never tried before like lemon zest hamachi nigiri and snapper nigiri in plum sauce. Definitely a great date night spot for sushi lovers, if I could ball out all the time I’d be a regular

Make a reservation and do the omakase. They have an a la carte option as well but it’s a better deal to do one of the omakases. Also keep in mind you pay ahead of time when making the reservation which felt weird at first but it was nice to just leave when we were done!

I’ll also note that this is not a traditional omakase experience, it’s more of a remix with things like crispy rice and arancini. But I have heard their sister restaurant Mr. Omakase is a more traditional experience. Hopefully I can go next Miami spice/birthday!

Miss Crispy Rice offers such a fun and unique dining experience. I love their one-hour dining format, which keeps everything quick and efficient—perfect for a lunch outing when you want something special but don’t have a lot of time. I visited for the Miami Spice lunch, and while the food was excellent, the portions were on the smaller side, so you’ll likely find yourself ordering a few extras to feel satisfied.

That said, everything we tried was absolutely delicious and beautifully prepared. The eel and tuna crispy rice were standouts—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The sashimi was incredibly fresh and of outstanding quality, making each bite worth savoring.

Be aware that prices are on the higher side, so expect a larger bill, especially if you add to the Miami Spice selections. Still, the quality of the ingredients and the overall experience make it worth the splurge at least once.

Miss Crispy Rice is such a gem! Miami Spice here was an incredible deal, $35 for a 9-course omakase that felt like a true experience. Each course was so fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. It was a lot of fun to watch the chefs prepare everything right in front of us, adding to the excitement of the meal. The restaurant itself has a modern, inviting vibe, and the service was attentive and welcoming. A fantastic spot I’ll definitely be coming back to!

I always try to visit a few new restaurants during Miami Spice and this year Miss Crispy Rice was at the top of my list. I am glad I did because it did not disappoint. The space is cozy and inviting, I ended up going two times and both times the staff was amazing and attentive and the food was a 10 out of
10. I can confidently say that I will definitely be back next Miami spice (I already have
August 1st circled on my calendar ) and may even pass by to just grab some of my favorite items á la cart like the Miso Corn Leek Soup, Truffle Arancini & Miso Glazed Bone Marrow , Himachi Kama and the Dessert. I also had the pleasure to meet the owners Andrew and Ryan who are both amazing and deserve all the success with not only Miss Crispy Rice but all their other restaurants . Now which one of the two are more handsome? You’re going to have to go to one of those restaurants , meet them and decide that for yourself.

Excellent dining experience at Miss Crispy Rice. The manager, sushi men and service were fantastic and friendly. The nigiri combinations are very well selected and executed. My only suggestion is to improve the ambiance with more suitable lighting.

Went for miami spice lunch 1pm on a weekday, 9 bites for $35. Prepay for your meal ahead of time to reserve your 1 hour spot. It is considered a good value when you compare the price on their regular menu.

Not pictured was the two small fish dumplings.
Nice fresh flavors with good care to presentation.
The restaurant was empty, but I was rushed to finish my food, from what I tasted it was fine-total time spent inside was 35 min.

I wouldn’t recommend going out of your way for this experience (from out of state on vacation and drove 2+hours in miami traffic due to the “hype”).
Good for if you’re already in the area and you want a light bite.
