Fantastic sushi spot in Anchorage! The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. But what really set this place apart was the service—Keila was hands down the best server we’ve had during our entire week in Alaska. Had a great late lunch at Miso Sushi with my mom and boyfriend and we were super impressed! We started with a couple appetizers and everything came out fresh. My mom got the sashimi tempura bento box, my boyfriend had the dragon roll, and I went with the spicy noodle soup—which was packed with flavor and super filling. All customers before you even order get a small bowl of miso soup w and noodles salad. The miso soup was delicious but the noodle salad wasn’t our favorite. Still, the portions were generous and the total for all three of us (plus two apps!) was only $91. For a sushi spot, that’s incredibly affordable. Definitely coming back!

Tempura is for sure better than all the other dishes. Soft shell crabs, Halibut and Calamari tempura are all very tasty.
Sashimi is okay. We ordered a combination of 42 pcs (salmon/white tuna/scallop etc.), however it only meet the standard of the combo that u can get from the local Japanese supermarket.
We also ordered dumplings and miso rolls, nothing impressed us. A lil overrated.

I have been here twice, and the food is fantastic! On my most recent visit, my party ordered several rolls and even requested two of them to be extra spicy, and they were! Finally, a place that has spicy sushi!

Everything was amazing! I have had sushi all over the United States and in Japan. And Miso is in my top 3 places now. The service was great and our server(I’m having a hard time remembering but I think her name was Kayla) was very friendly.
