Excellent, friendly service and fresh, creatively tasty food! We even love the music (70s and 80s … ABBA, Love Train, Michael Jackson, etc.). The decor is fun and includes colorful lighting across the ceiling and various paintings by local artists of MISFITS along with the table number photos…(Muppets, toys from Rudolph in a taco, Wednesday Addams, Kramer, Buddy Elf, Chuck Norris, and for some reason the owner, Mayor of Cleveland and Lord’s Supper.). Our order taker Thatcher, and server Sylvie, were very professional and friendly. Everything was clean and well-maintained. I had their take on a taco version of a Philly Cheesesteak (The Fresh Prince Taco) and it was tender and delicious. My husband selected the Rule of Three, where you can select 3 items, either tacos or sides. He had the Kim Jong (pulled pork with Korean style sauce) and loved it and Just Keep Swimming (Dory) fish taco and It’s not KFC fried chicken bites taco. His favorite was the pork. I had the Giant Peach Tea (a reference to James and the Giant Peach I think) and it was also very good. They had quotes and some Misfit Taco Swag (t-shirts) on the walls as well as a convenient pick-up shelf for take out orders. It’s a great locally owned restaurant!

I arrived at 11:32 to have lunch with a co-worker. You place your order at the front and then seat yourself. There are 2 unisex bathrooms. The one I used was a small step above fast food restaurant quality, had paper towels, but has a trash can with a lid you have to open yourself (I used my foot to open and close it). I ordered The Gobbler taco, The Grinch taco, medium Sweet Potato Tots, a Kale Salad, and a Blackberry Fried Pie. With regards to my order, the 2 tacos, sweet potato tots, and fried pie were all seasonal items, meaning they’re only available for certain parts of the year. I was aware that the 2 tacos and tots were seasonal, but I wasn’t aware the fried pie was a seasonal item (it’s apparently only supposed to be offered during the summer, but their website doesn’t mention that). I just lucked out by getting the last fried pie they had. Anyway, one thing I don’t like was that they don’t offer free water. Meaning that if you want a drink, you have to purchase “Bottomless Beverages”, which was $3.29. I don’t know if they’d have a problem with me bringing my own water, but I think I’ll try that next time. I did indulge in their seasonal lemonade offerings though, which were good. As for how long it took for my food to arrive, The Gobbler and Kale Salad took 6 minutes and 28 seconds to arrive, The Grinch and Sweet Potato Tots took 9 minutes and 35 seconds to arrive (so about 3 minutes later), and my fried pie arrived last at 18 minutes and 53 seconds after I had placed my order. The food was overall good, but I didn’t care for the fried pie. It was okay, but I think my issue is that I’m not a fan of fried pies. Despite my complaint about the not offering free water thing, I still would come back here again.

We came on a Saturday night just randomly finding this place on Google. We waited awhile to have our order taken but I think they were training some staff. We placed our order and didnt wait long for the appetizer and then our tacos to come out. They did forget to bring us one of our dishes so when I went to the front and asked for a refund on the item since we had already finished they offered to prepare it again or refund it, which we chose the latter. They did a great job easily refunding the item then additionally giving a free voucher for the next time which I thought was really nice. However what I was offput by was the manager going to back and seemingly reprimanding the food runner about not reminding the staff about the missing item, which I did in fact hear him do. I mean train how you want, but in the middle of the transaction within earshot of the customer was awkward. I do want to say we will be coming back because we did appreciate the way they handled the missing item and more importantly the food was not only great-its also extremely filling. Echoing others, the flavor combos were incredible! We were quite impressed. I gave a 4 star for atmosphere because it was kinda empty for a Saturday and the vibes were a little off , like maybe the overhead lights were too bright and overwhelmed the ambient light. Im not sure. To only be open till 8pm on a Saturday was unexpected. Maybe its a highly popular lunch place? Good food for dinner too though.

Misfit Tacos absolutely delivers. I came in for their Taco Tuesday deal, and honestly, it’s hard to beat. Great value, great flavors, and everything tasted fresh and well put together. Each taco was packed with flavor, and the variety made it even better.
Between the quality of the food and the deal itself, Taco Tuesday here feels like a no-brainer. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to whenever that craving hits.

Seeing bad reviews for this place is super disappointing. I dont have one bad thing to say. Me and my best friend went for a late lunch, and the food was absolutely amazing. WELL WORTH THE PRICE. exceptional service and exceptional food. 10/10 WILL RETURN! Thank you guys sooo much!

The most amazing tacos! The flavor combinations and variety was beyond our expectations! Shrimp, beef, pork, Asian, Korean, Southern, just incredible. We had the tower of tacos which was impressive. Easily feeds 4 if not more. The ambiance was fun, they have paintings on the walls for purchase of pop culture characters/actors, etc. They were busy but we didn’t wait very long and the order system is easy no matter how you order. We will definitely be back!

I was in the area today with a friend when we saw this lovely place. I am very hard to please with food (im a great cook) but this place had some of the BEST tacos I have ever had. The lady who took our order was awesome and im already trying to figure out another reason to drive 1.5hrs to eat here again.

From the moment I walked in, I knew I was somewhere special. The atmosphere is giving very positive vibes and the people running the show, from the owner to the person who delivered my food swiftly to my (very clean) table, were all AMAZING! Honestly, the best and most down to Earth people I can think of ever having met in the wild.
I had their taco Tuesday special which was 4 tacos of my choice, queso, salsa, and chips all for a very low price. So low that I’m not even going to post it here because I definitely think they should be charging more for the quality, quantity, and taste that I experienced! Seriously, it’s a deal that should NOT be passed on!
Go. Go here if you want something new, fun, unique, yet familiar. It was truly one of the best dining experiences Ive ever had!
