The ambondigas were very good and a good price. Beans for the chips were delicious coming from a owning my own Mexican restaurant for 15 years. My server was attentive and nice. Will come back to try other dishes.

Dog friendly outdoor seating, a big plus for those of us traveling with dogs. We were greeted by our server, soon after sitting down. She brought chips and salsa, we thought the salsa was very good. We ordered the chicken hamburger and I chose the, build your own burger. Added double meat, Cajun fries (extra) and a large Agua fria drink (the drink is sweet and delicious, but $5 per glass).
Both sandwiches were very good, I’d order my hamburger again.

I really like the melon Fresca auga but they served us food that was not throughly heated especially the refried beans. The Fajitas were not evening sizzling when brought out. Brother got food poisoning and was throwing up can’t recommend.

We really wanted to like this place, as it has a great outdoor patio (especially great if you’re traveling with a dog), an unusual (if somewhat bizarre) menu, and likeable staff. But after our experience (and then reading other reviews), I can’t recommend it.
The food itself was OK, though more American (hamburgers, wings) than Mexican. (I had to try the Mexican hamburger–which features a hamburger, hot dog, avocados, cheese in a bun–which was pretty tasty but not the least bit Mexican). The chips and salsa (fresh looking pico de gallo) were above average and a misleading start. The problem was the service, which was very slow and even more unprofessional, though I will at least give the server (who was also the cashier, seemed to be the manager, and might even have been the owner) credit for trying.
When our food finally arrived, both of our side orders had been forgotten and my wife’s wings had the incorrect sauce. I had the order ticket from the server and she had entered the order correctly, so it was the kitchen staff who messed up. But still, she should have checked the order for accuracy. She promised to bring our sides (fried corn, and cajun fries), but we never saw them. We had finished our food when she again came by and asked if we were doing OK, having completely forgotten that she had not brought the sides. At that point, I simply asked for a check and she said to come inside and she’d ring me out. I mentioned the missing items and she had once again forgotten all about them, though she did take the items off our bill.
I get the feeling the restaurant has recently (re)opened, as there were “now open” signs and a big sign for New Belgium beer yet no beer anywhere to be had–probably because they were still seeking a license. So MAYBE this is a bit of working out kinks, but as nice as the server/cashier/manager was, she’s clearly not suited for this line of work. Her total lack of memory and her inability to get the kitchen staff to do their jobs correctly (as noted by other reviewers as well) does not bode well. I’ll be surprised if this place lasts long enough to get their liquor license. Too bad, but the restaurant business is tough.

This restaurant was horrible. They had completely messed our order up. We had ordered 4 burritos in total 3 smothered in queso and 1 smothered in green chilli. Well the server who was also the one that greeted us at the front door took our order,while he was starting to serve us he mentioned that the cook messed up our order. They had given us 3 burritos smothered in green chilli and one smothered in queso and to top it off the food was cold. I was extremely pissed off. We didnt get asked what we wanted to drink all he did was bring out water and then the chips and salsa wasnt even chips and salsa. It was chips and pico de gallo. I wouldnt recommend this restaurant even if it were the only restaurant in walden. Save your time and money.

So we ate here Saturday July 26th and I’m going to have to say it was the WORST and I mean the absolute worst restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. We had ordered 3 burritos smothered in queso and one burrito smothered in green chilli. Well they had gotten the entire order wrong and gave us 3 burritos smothered in green chilli and another burrito smothered in queso. They didn’t offer us any soda’s and then the appetizer was chips and salsa but it wasn’t salsa it was pico de gallo not salsa. Horrible horrible service and last but not least the food was cold. Save your time and money and don’t go to this horrible place.

Supposed to open at 11am, only 2 people in the kitchen dining room not ready for customers (chairs on tables),the printing on the menu is SO small you can barely read it, not a large selection of food options, 2 tables walked out while waiting to be waited on.
Only traveling thru, however we would not return if we lived there.
