This was our second time visiting, and man, am I glad we gave this place another shot.
The first time we came, they just had some unlucky timing—the AC went out on a hot day and the tech was already on the way. We stayed and ate anyway, and while the food and drinks were good, the heat kind of overshadowed the experience. Instead of writing them off for bad luck, we decided to come back… and wow, was that the right decision.
This place has an awesome drink menu that’s priced really well, with fun specials like BOGO sangria and margaritas—which is a fantastic way to start the night. And they were excellent.
The menu is full of unique items that fit the theme of the restaurant, and just looking around, you can tell the recipes give off that home-cooked vibe, which I absolutely love. The food was phenomenal—everything cooked perfectly, came out in a timely manner, and the portion sizes are very hearty.
The restaurant has been clean every time we’ve visited, from the parking lot to the dining area and even the restrooms. On top of that, the staff is very friendly and welcoming.
I would absolutely recommend giving this little mom-and-pop gem a try. We’re glad we did—and we’ll definitely be back.

Stopped in and grabbed a colada while waiting for my late lunch order. Such a great find! Service was quick and super friendly. I was a little surprised there wasn’t any music playing, but the outdoor seating was spacious and inviting. Inside had a relaxed, easygoing vibe that made it a nice spot to unwind. Parking’s a bit limited, with spaces on both sides of the building, but worth it once you’re inside. The Cuban sandwich was massive and packed with flavor. The pork was tender and delicious. Definitely hit the spot!

Large portions, enough to feed 2-3 for each plate. My toddlers loved the pulled pork. Friendly service, outdoor and indoor seating, easy parking, we’ll be back!

The food was great. This was my first time here and I have no complaints. For the most part the food is priced well especially for the portion size. The plate came out and I literally gasped. There was enough food on one plate for two adults. Overall great service. I do think the ambiance would be classified as your average mom and pop shop. No music playing, which I think could have added to a better experience. Will certainly come back.

Great service and food. We loved the starter and the sides such as tostones, however we don’t think the steak was that good. Would recommend this place and try other entrees in the future

I had bistec de pollo with rice and black beans. My friend ate pollo empanizado with rice, black beans and tostones. The black beans are a $3.45 extra. Both were delicious and the place started to get busy when we left about 5:30.

I’m in town for a work conference this weekend and the desk person at my hotel recommended this delightful spot. I stopped in for lunch today and asked what was the most popular dish. The answer was the bisteak palomilla and I can see why! I order with rice and beans and tostones. The palomilla was super flavorful and delicious with the onion and pepper topping. The tostones (my favorite snack) were HUGE and the rice and beans were really tasty. I had a cafe con leche to go as well for an afternoon pick me up. So glad I tried this recommendation. It was a happening spot, so it’s not a secret, but figured I’d throw my opinion in as well. The guy next to me at the bar ordered a Cuban sandwich and a bowl of the black bean soup. I can’t vouch for the taste, but the bowl of soup was enormous and even the smaller version of the Cubano was substantial. My meal was $22 and more like a dinner portion than lunch. If I’m here again, I’ll definitely go back.
