The bartender was extremely nice and helpful and that’s where the second star comes in.
Pappardelle pasta, very little Alfredo sauce, 5 shrimp and a roll for $34 is CRAZY!!
No cloth napkins, no valet parking, no dress code why so much!?! But I figured the portion must be large and the food has to be Amazing!!!
The pasta was stuck together which made it hard to eat, there was very little of this thin Alfredo sauce and I didn’t like the taste. Needless to say I was thoroughly disappointed, what a waste of money it wasn’t worth it maybe $15. Smh never again…
I’ve been going to Mirko Pasta in Brookhaven since I moved to Atlanta a little over a year ago, and every single visit has been amazing. It has truly become my go-to Italian spot.
The pasta is incredible — they handmake it fresh daily, and you can absolutely taste the difference. The sauces are so fresh and flavorful (including their house-made tomato sauce for the pizza), and everything feels thoughtfully prepared. The chicken parm is to die for, and my personal favorites are the tagliatelle with fungi sauce or the carbonara — rich, perfectly balanced, and consistently cooked to perfection.
The pizza is just as impressive. I’ve had the Margherita, Capricciosa, and Prosciutto, and every pie is fresh, authentic, and beautifully balanced. The house-made tomato sauce is what really sets it apart.
The bar deserves its own moment too. The bartender has award-winning signature cocktails that are genuinely so good. His take on a Paloma (I wish I remembered the exact name!) is refreshing, creative, and beautifully crafted — you can tell there’s real pride behind the drinks.
And truly, the owners, Motley and Sara, are exceptional. They’ve created such a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and it shows in every detail — from the food to the service.
Mirko is truly a gem in Brookhaven. I couldn’t recommend it more!
Motley told me everything was made by hand here within the restaurant except one of the cheeses.
I ended up getting an appetizer, entree and wine. It definitely felt like a full experience and l will be coming back.
Restaurant food shouldn’t just be a transaction but also a story and conversation
