We hadn’t eaten here in a while and were pleasantly surprised how delicious everything was! Everything was fresh. The tofu was well prepared and really tasty.

I love getting Ramen from this place it’s delicious. I always get take out so I haven’t gotten the chance to receive full service at this restaurant that’s the only reason I gave them 4 stars. The people working them are always professional and attentive in case I need anything else when I pickup my food. It’s a small restaurant with limited seating but I never seen it full. The location doesn’t help much in putting this restaurant out there a lot, but it’s gotten attention from word of mouth because the food tastes good. Taste the Ramen it’s good.

Maybe I’m ordering the wrong things here but I’ve been here twice and have been pretty disappointed. Ordered takeout for miso soup, edamame and gyoza. The miso soup was so salty I couldn’t eat it, garlic edamame was undercooked and pretty raw so I could only eat a few, the gyoza were edible but probably were just made from frozen gyoza, or atleast that’s what the quality kind of reflected. Meal was cheap, so maybe that’s why idk maybe the ramen is better but I paid $27 and only pretty much was able to eat the gyoza. Bummer.

Its a tiny little place with pretty good food. We got some sushi rolls and tempura and will definitely be back for more of that. The parking was a little weird in the back but I think that was mostly cause people drive weird. Inexpensive and tasty, just the way we like it. Only issues were – it smelled a little like grease in there and we were just maybe a tad too close to people sitting next to us. Will just get it to go next time. Problem solved.

First of all, it’s not expensive at all. I am in love with Asian food and have tried tons of Asian cuisine restaurants. Japanese is my favorite but I always think twice before going to a Japanese restaurant due to its expensiveness. One $ rate is rare for Japanese food and I was doubtful about its quality. But I was totally convinced since I first entered the door, the restaurant looked so clean, simple and modern designs with very impressive service and the food is definitely delicious and the price is very reasonable.

Ramen at Mirin Café is always outstanding. I had the shoyu ramen and my son ordered the spicy Mirin ramen. Both packed with flavor, the noodles were cooked perfectly, with the yummy soft boiled egg broth. It is consistently one of our favorite spots in our hometown. Chili vibe and enough people to know it’s a great place but not too many to feel crowded.

First time coming here since I been coming to this area quite often.
The sushi rolls were great, but just not the edamame as they looked pretty dried and like they just sprinkled salt on the top part only.
It is small in space and the tables/seats are so close to each other you hardly have space to back up or walk thru.
It took me a while to find it as it was hidden and it looked like a drive thru which I never seen a sushi place have one either.
The parking is open but you will need to go around the drive thru to get out because there’s only one entrance/exit.
Also, there were flys inside even when the door was closed. I can’t complain about the service because the girl was great.

Great ramen place in Escondido. It seems to be on the site of a former fast food restaurant since there’s a drive through, but they’ve repurposed it well and use it now as a takeout for ramen :), very smart idea. The ramen is great, and the tempura is good. Waiters are very nice, and the food comes pretty quick. Would recommend!

I recently dined at this cozy spot in Escondido. The Mirin Ramen was exceptional—rich broth, tender noodles, and perfectly cooked pork. The staff was friendly and attentive, enhancing the dining experience. However, the limited seating made it a bit cramped during peak hours. Despite that, the quality of the food and the inviting atmosphere make it a place I’d recommend.

They have vegetarian options.
They now serve beer/sake.
I’ve tried about half of the menu and it’s all been solid.
It’s small and quaint.
The staff is great.
The service is good.
They do take-out.
Yes, they have a drive through window, but DO NOT USE THIS LIKE FAST FOOD. Use it for called-in take-out pick-up only. It takes 15-20m to prep your food, so don’t drive up expecting a quick pick up.
Also, do not come in here as a ramen snob. They are no “5-star” or “true” Japanese cuisine. But they are very good for location, price and what we have available in the area.
If you want to be a stuck up “foodie” drive to Convoy.
