It’s a perfect place to go to for breakfast, lunch and dinner and definitely is a must-visit if you’re in Metro Manila!
Shout out to Ms. Jamie, Peter, Grace, Sarah, Danielle, Joy, Morena, Sir Gian, Chef Lau and all the rest of Mireio Staff!
My mom was finally visiting the Philippines again after immigrating 40 yrs ago. The staff (our server Jamie, plus Mary Grace, Lavie, Jerick, Jillian, Xy, Morena) surprised my mom with a hand written welcome back message and fresh sliced mango and dessert. The message made us cry! It was such a sweet gesture we will never forget.
The breakfast is good too! I have enjoyed the Filipino breakfast and the eggs Benedict. Their eggs have a nice orange yolk with a delicious flavor, which I take as good quality. I thought the French toast was soggy though (too much milk, not enough egg?).
Thank you Mireio for providing a warm welcome back to my mom! We sincerely appreciate that you went above and beyond to make us feel at home. We very much look forward to our future visits at Mireio. ❤️
Serving portions are on the smaller side considering the price point, though this may be because breakfast was part of our room package. It’s unclear if à la carte orders come in the same serving size.
We sampled several dishes to explore the menu:
• Miso Salmon – Perfectly cooked with beautifully crisp skin while the salmon remains juicy and tender.
• Wonton Noodle Soup – A clear standout; the wontons are generously filled, the shrimp plump and juicy, and the broth flavorful yet clean.
• Beef Tapa – Lean, tender, and well-balanced — not overly salty, a refined version of this Filipino classic.
• Longganisa Platter – Garlicky and flavorful, though the danggit that comes with it is a bit too tough and chewy.
• Omelette – Fluffy with a pleasant smoky touch, simple but well-executed.
• Smoked Salmon Platter – Fresh and well-prepared, a light and satisfying option to start the day.
A few dishes didn’t quite meet expectations:
• Scrambled Truffle Egg – Cooked way too dry, losing the creamy texture and aroma that make truffle eggs special.
• Dim Sum Basket – Just average, nothing particularly memorable.
• Chocolate Crêpe – The biggest letdown; the crêpe was too thick and lacked that light, chewy texture, while the chocolate syrup tasted more like a commercial syrup than restaurant-quality chocolate.
As for the Hummus with Pita, the pita was nicely warm and soft, though we can’t fairly rate the dish as it’s not something we’re familiar with taste-wise — it simply didn’t suit our usual palate.
One noticeable issue across both mornings was that all fried eggs, regardless of the dish, were served cold. While they were cooked exactly as we requested, none arrived warm, which may point to a lapse in serving sequence or kitchen timing.
There were also quite a number of freshly baked pastries available, which pastry lovers would likely enjoy. We didn’t explore these much since we’re not pastry fans, but they did look inviting and well-prepared.
Overall, Mireio offers a refined and elegant breakfast experience with top-tier service and a peaceful view of Makati. While not every dish was perfect, the attentive staff and serene atmosphere make it a lovely place to start the morning — especially if you appreciate calm luxury over speed and volume.
Both the starters (Mediterranean Tuna Salad and Warm Goat Cheese Salad) were nice and fresh.
However, for the soups, I preferred the Roasted Zucchini Soup more than Soupe de Poisson. Soupe de Poisson was too salty for my liking.
The Beef Tenderloin was cooked perfectly.
The Apple Tarte was one of my favorites! While I do liked the Coconut Chocolate Mousse, the chocolate shell was too difficult to eat because of its hard consistency.
Overall, I have nothing bad to say about the quality and taste of the food, while there were really no “complex” flavors, the simplicity of the food makes it all the more palatable.
The service was also highly commendable— I had so many questions about their available coconut-based cocktails and so many requests with their available black tea, but all of it were met by welcoming accommodation by their staff. Shoutout to Miss Berlyn for being incredibly patient and warm!
We will definitely come back!
The service is what you can expect from a fine dining establishment. Well trained, welcoming, and provides excellent service. The waiters also visit your table for a chance of tasting a variety of bread and delectable cheese selections. The service is definitely top-notch.
The Food is great. The Shrimp in tomato sauce soup brings a balance of acidity and the taste of the sea, paired with slices of bread it is very much posh. The Steak might look tough but it is quite properly cooked and tender not like the tough exterior it might look. The Lobster Risotto is a must try rice that is expertly cooked with cheese and white sauce together with lobster packs quite a yum in every bite. The cake given to us because of the valentines day promo we availed is a moist chocolate cake. Premium chocolate both on the chiffon and the cream and the icing. Not sweet to the taste but melts in your mouth kind of dessert.
Overall, eating here in MIRÈIO in the heart of Makati is one of the best places to dine and enjoy the Makati skyline and admire the busy cosmopolitan views of the city.
Food and the service were both fantastic.
The only thing I didn’t like was that the seatings were way too close to each other and felt so cramped.
I had to walk around to find the passage to get to the food so I didn’t have to ask other guests to pull their chairs in for me.
Their Paella and the Ceviche are “must try”.
Made to order Lamb was amazing as well.
One small point of criticism that did bother us was the extremely quick succession of meals. We’ve never had to eat so quickly before. That could be significantly improved!
The freshly baked bread rolls are excellent, and the foie gras mousse with tamarind and buckwheat is rich yet balanced, while the black trumpet with soubise espuma delivers earthy depth. A standout main, the sous-vide lamb loin, is tender and enhanced by pistachio farce, stuffed eggplant, and aromatic coffee jus.
The Hami melon and cucumber sorbet refreshes the palate, followed by a striking dessert – an ube tofu tahini semifreddo veil cake with red mung bean foam that is both refined and impressive.
Service is warm, attentive, and impeccably paced, allowing the meal to unfold smoothly and unhurriedly.
The atmosphere is a defining feature, with an elegant dining room and panoramic views of Makati City combining to create a setting that feels both elevated and inviting, and perfectly suited to the style of cuisine.
Overall, Mirèio stands out as a memorable dining destination, combining refined French cuisine, thoughtful service, and striking city views.
Every food presentation is a work of art. We have chosen the perfect courses. Every flavor we have tasted is divine and pleasing to our palate. We like very much their steaks.
Their desserts are awesome especially this coconut chocolate mousse.
This is all about amazing flavors, stellar hospitality, and spectacular experience.
We are beyond satisfied.
Thank you, Mireio
