We really enjoyed our lunch here and liked that they have nice booths. Service was good and staff really friendly. We both did the combo special which is a curry, rice, naan, salad, and choice of either Chana masala or Dal. We did paneer/chicken tikka masala. Both were excellent however we asked for spicy and we both found our food very mild. If you like spicy ask for extra spicy. Will be back to try more dishes.

I’m so glad they opened in our neighborhood! I discovered the best Indian cuisine in Edmonton. The staff are incredibly friendly, polite, and attentive.

They serve complimentary chips with a dipping sauce as an appetizer, which is such a great way to start the meal—it excites your taste buds and makes you look forward to the dishes you’ve ordered even more.

Every item we tried was excellent and delicious. The atmosphere was outstanding, and overall, it was a truly satisfying dinner.

I ordered online (Skip) and qualified for a free kheer due to the size of my order. Unfortunately, the kheer I received was extremely diluted, with only a small amount of rice floating in it, and it didn’t resemble kheer at all. The portion size was also very small (only a few tablespoons). Considering it’s normally priced at $6, it did not feel worth it. It also made me wonder if it was diluted because it was a free item.
The puris were thick, soggy, and very dark in color. Overall, the food was underwhelming and did not taste good.

I ordered samosas and kheer from Morch Masala for work, and everything was amazing! The veg samosas, chicken samosas, and veg momos were all packed with flavor, and the kheer was the perfect sweet touch to finish off the meal. Everyone enjoyed it and kept asking where the food was from. The presentation was also excellent, which made it even more enjoyable. Thank you to the team at Morch Masala for such great food and service — we’ll definitely be ordering again!

I have not been to many Indian restaurants in Edmonton but I have tried couple of highly rated ones and I have to tell that Mirch Masala is definately my favourite so far.
We went there later on Tuesday evening and it was really nice and quiet. The music and atmosphere were cozy and relaxing. The waitress was quick, polite and friendly.
The food is made from a scratch. All the meals we ordered were well balanced with flavours and sooo good! Both me and my husband were satisfied!
And because the portions are generous and filling, we also had leftovers for the next day. When I warmed up my meal in staff room, everyone who entered were saying how good the food smells.

If you’re craving for good quality Indian food, I highly reccommend to try it out!

Thank You for providing such a delcious meals!

Great Experience! My hubby was not well, he wanted to eat something spicy. It was our first visit. Komal, our server was polite and nice. And Madan, the owner was awesome and very humble. Food was really delicious and yummy. I highly recommend this Indian restaurant who is looking forward to have Indian authentic taste. Surely, we will visit again Keep up the great work. ✨️

I was there for lunch today with a friend. The waitress was friendly, pleasant and answered our questions about the menu. We ordered the non-veggie thali. The tandoor chicken was a flavourful and so were the other items in the thali. We also ordered the Aloo . Everything was delicious. I definitely go back there again

Mirch Masala – A Bit Underwhelming
My recent visit to Mirch Masala left a bit to be desired. We tried a range of dishes, including the Chilli Chicken Dry, Chilli Chicken Gravy, Chicken Fried Rice, Veg Schezwan Momos, Chicken hakka noodles and Chilli Chicken Momos.
Overall, the food was just okay. We had specifically requested medium to spicy for all our dishes, which they didn’t deliver on – unfortunately. Everything felt a little underwhelming in terms of flavor. The chilli chicken dishes, both dry and gravy, lacked the expected punch, and the momos, while edible, didn’t really stand out. Even the chicken fried rice, a fairly standard dish, didn’t quite hit the mark.
It’s possible the chef was having an off day, as the food wasn’t bad, just not particularly memorable. If you’re looking for something safe and very mild, Mirch Masala might do the trick, but don’t expect an explosion of flavor.
