Miracle Bakery in Burbank California is a great spot for a chicken sandwich and café mocha when you want a cozy bakery café experience. I just finished lunch there and had to share. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, modern but with a nice little nod to mid century style that makes it feel comfortable without trying too hard.

The chicken sandwich was so good. Lightly breaded, crispy but not heavy, and the slaw on it had amazing flavor and crunch. You can tell they care about the details. And the café mocha… finally one made with real chocolate. Rich, smooth, not overly sweet. It honestly pulled the whole meal together. Such a pleasant place to sit and enjoy good food. I’ll definitely be back.

Coffee and food is great!! Adorable little shop on a corner. Very inviting.
I had a Gingerbread Latte and it was awesome. It didn’t taste like it was loaded with artificial flavors and wasn’t sugary. And the breakfast burrito I had was incredible!!!

I recently visited Miracle Bakery, drawn by the promise of gluten-free donuts. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The “”donut”” I ordered turned out to be a cake with a hole, not a true donut. This misrepresentation was a major letdown. Additionally, the lack of public restrooms was inconvenient. While the food was okay, the misleading menu and absence of amenities made for an underwhelming visit. If you’re craving authentic gluten-free donuts, this might not be the place.

This is my favorite spot for breakfast in Burbank. Great variety of options for breakfast. Their bakers is amazing. Tasty sweets! Their coffee is also delicious. I love the hot oat milk latte and also breakfast burrito with bacon and avocado- potatoes on my the side for me. I highly recommend this spot!

First time visiting and the food was delicious. I got the Chicken Tinga Chilaquiles red and green and they were really good, a solid 9/10. I also got their Nutella French Toast and again really good, a solid 9/10. Their pastries are also very tasty! Lastly their iced cafe de olla was really really good, such good flavor and just the right ratio of espresso, milk and syrup. Oh also the vides are great and the workers or owners are so welcoming. Definitely a must try and will be a returning customer!!

You could not ask for better food or friendlier service! It’s small so seating is a little cramped inside, but there is outdoor seating with umbrellas. Their portions are large; chicken sandwich is my favorite. Their coffee is perfect. Pastries are always great. Nothing bad to say about Miracle Bakery.

I love coming here and have been doing so for a long time. They are the best early food in the area. Food is fresh, service is knowledgeable and friendly, and I always feel welcome every time I’m here.

Sometimes I like to change it up and ask to customize some things, and some combinations will have to be paid extra, but the quality is always there and the care in creating the food and drink is amazing.

Coffee is fresh and not bitter, fresh juices are lovely! They do cakes, pastries, sandwiches and burritos, amazing Mexican and bakery fare. Very vegetarian friendly 10/10.

First time in Miracle Bakery today, certainly won’t be my last. Ordered their English muffin egg sandwich, a coffee, and a cheddar biscuit. One of the better biscuits I had in a long time. Egg sandwich was simple: lettuce, tomato, bacon, touch of mayo, cheddar, and a nice (unexpected) runny over easy egg. Their cake case looked fantastic, and they had some tasty looking donuts out. Will be back to try some more of their baked goods!

This bakery completely ruined a birthday and then had the audacity to try to profit from their own mistake.

I called days in advance to order a flan cake for a birthday. I was told it would take a couple of days and that we could pick it up right before heading to the party. We arrived exactly as planned—only to be told that they had already sold our cake to someone else about 20 minutes earlier.

Why? Because a random person walked in and claimed it was theirs.

No name check.
No phone number verification.
No receipt confirmation.

They just handed over our custom order to whoever asked for it.

So there we were, minutes before a birthday party, with no cake because of their negligence.

And here’s the part that takes this from bad to outrageous: instead of apologizing and fixing their mistake, the owner/person at the register offered another cake… and expected us to pay for it. Let that sink in. They gave away our order and then tried to charge us again to clean up their mess.

This is not a “mix-up.” This is a total failure of basic business practices and customer service. Any competent bakery knows you verify names or phone numbers before releasing an order—especially for special occasions. Apparently, that’s too much to ask here.

If you’re ordering for a birthday, event, or anything that actually matters, do not trust this bakery. They cannot manage orders, do not take responsibility for their mistakes, and will leave you scrambling at the last minute with nothing to show for it.

One of the worst customer experiences I’ve had. Avoid.

This is my kind of place.
I did a search for good coffee and pastries nearby to my hotel’s location.
I went there early one morning and was welcomed by the people and the atmosphere of the place.
It’s right on the corner of intersecting roads, which gives it a nice view from inside the building.
It’s run by a husband and wife team and the food was fresh and tasty. The coffee was also hot and flavorful.
On my first visit, I just got coffee and a chocolate croissant (nicely sized). After that, I knew I needed to return before I flew back to Austin.
On my second visit I tried their breakfast quesadilla with sausage (yummy!) and an orange and cranberry scone.
I think they cook their food onsite, as they have a decent sized kitchen behind the counter, and it certainly tasted fresh.
Next time I’m in Burbank, I will be returning.
Support this great local business.
