They have a very cozy and stylish interior and a small patch of outdoor patio that will make you feel like you’re in Paris. Highly recommend to anybody in the area!
The food. This was our second visit as there’s far too much to try in one go. On each visit, we tried a couple baked goods and a breakfast to share. A week later, my wife is still dreaming about the mirabelle beignet. The ingredients are delicious and the end product, a delight. I’m still savoring the Oui Oui le chausson I just experienced with it’s melt in your mouth pastry, fresh apple compote, and buttery flavor after you swallow.
We’ve so far tried: croissant, mirabelle beignet, St. Germain breakfast, Mr. Breakfast 2.0, baguette, oui oui le chausson, salmon symphony tartine, coffee, and hot chocolate. You won’t go wrong, even if you cover your eyes and point at something random on the menu or in the pastry case.
Go. You’ll only regret not going sooner.
What stuck with me isn’t just the delicious pastries, but the care, the generosity, and the warmth that defines this place. I came back to the cafe after the class because the experience lingered and again, I was reminded that this is the kind of hospitality that goes beyond transactions. There is a genuine effort to build relationships and welcome all which feels increasingly rare.
It isn’t just a cafe but really an experience shaped by pride in craft and authenticity. If you’re looking for exceptional French pastries with a level of hospitality thats unmatched, Mirabelle by Orphée is a place you absolutely need to visit. Highly, highly recommend & everything I tried was 11/10.
I’ve been here several times and have tried almost the entire menu — everything is consistently fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Even the plates and the overall aesthetic make the experience feel like a little French escape.
The biggest surprise? The prices. For being right in the heart of Seattle, the value is unbelievable. And you can tell why the quality is so high — the French owner is often on-site, personally making sure everything meets his standards.
Such a charming place with amazing food at a great price. Highly recommend
First of all, the pastries are incredible, truly 10 out of 10. The coffee is great too, and you can feel the French spirit in everything — from the flavor to the presentation.
What really makes this café stand out are the details: the silver forks and spoons, the beautiful dishes, the French-inspired elegance that you just don’t see often anymore.
It’s clear that everything here is made with heart and taste. Thank you for keeping such high standards, and for not giving up, even when the fancy forks disappear (owner’s words ) Seattle needs places like this. ❤️
And I have to say, this café feels especially perfect for romantic dates, or for girls who want to feel a bit like French women, enjoying a cup of coffee, a buttery croissant, and maybe a glass of champagne while watching life go by slowly from a little table outside.
If there’s one thing to improve, it’s the speed of service, though, to be fair, maybe that’s just part of the French charm.
And please, don’t be discouraged by what’s happening around Pioneer Square. Yes, there’s some street life there, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Focus on your croissant, your cup of coffee, your inner peace, and you’ll find yourself somewhere between Seattle and Paris.
Thank you again for creating such a beautiful place. Seattle truly needs more spots like this.
