I’ve been to this establishment more times than I’d like to admit, and I can never seem to learn my lesson. Where do I even start?

There have been several occasions when I’ve shown up at noon, shortly after opening time of 11 am and the doors are still locked to the outside.

The staff, including management, are often visibly intoxicated and more focused on entertaining their friends/”regulars” than actually serving customers. It can take 10 minutes or more to even have the staff acknowledge you upon entry.
When a staff member does interact with you, the service feels rushed and irritated, as if you’re inconveniencing them by being there. The lack of professionalism and basic courtesy is honestly shocking. Walking into this bar often feels like stepping into a circus.

When I’ve placed to-go food orders for pickup, my order has never been ready on time. I usually wait an extra 10 to 20 minutes past the pick up time, even during non-peak weekday hours. Having worked in the bar and restaurant industry myself, I understand that things can get hectic, but this level of disorganization seems to be the norm here, not the exception.

The quality of the food is equally disappointing. My last few salads were made with wilted lettuce that should have been tossed days earlier. I would often pay for extra salad dressing but not receive it with my order. I stopped ordering to-go food entirely last year after repeatedly receiving poorly handled meals and once noticing my hot pizza cooling on a wire shelf directly beneath liquid cleaning supplies and spray paint.

Most recently, I decided to give Mio’s one last chance and met a friend there for drinks and light apps. Midway through our cocktails, we were abruptly told to leave because the bar was being closed for a private party with a rap artsit after a show at Bogart’s. There was no prior notice, no signage, and we weren’t informed before opening a tab. We were essentially screamed at to “get out” and pushed out the rear exit by Bogart’s and Mio’s staff as the rap artist entered the front of the restaurant. This occured before our food arrived, so we never got our appetizers. It was an absolutely unprofessional and humiliating experience.

After giving this place multiple chances over the last five years, I can confidently say I will not be returning. Between the consistently poor service, questionable food handling, and disrespectful staff, Mio’s has earned my lowest possible rating.

They were super cool and made us a couple mocktails upon request!! The vibe here is laid back and chill, it was easy to walk to from the sidewalk, and not to mention THE PIZZA! That cheese pull was unreal It’s an absolute win for me, we’ll definitely come back next time we hit up Cincy!

Gianna was literally the best game day server I’ve ever had in Clifton. She was extremely attentive and made sure our annoying group of people were taken care of. This was the best game day dining experience I’ve had in years. Thank you Gianna for making our night!!

Also shout out to Maliyah for being so great with the Pizzas!!! She killed it!!

It was definitely a sports pizza pub. They had a lot of tv options to watch from with different games on. It was pretty busy and the wait for our food and drinks was not very long but there was a lack of flavor. The best part was the cheese sticks but there was no flavor to the four cheese pizza and the stuffed pizza was basically marinara with meat. Good atmosphere could have better food.

Picked this place at random while visiting the city and nearby zoo. My whole family enjoyed their food. The pizza was fine and everyone was cleaned their plates. Salads not so good.

This is a hangout for the campus community. That said, the service was lackluster, the salad with house dressing was fresh and tasty, the calzone edible though the filling was skimpy with excess crust, oddly to me, the marinara was on the side and ice cold as the beer. I really experienced nothing to recommend stopping except for socializing.

Very Good Food . Me and the wife frequent Cinci for the beer scene, but with all great beer one must also consume great food. That being said we visit a brewery and we ask the servers for recommendation for our next food and beer visits. Mios was mentioned so Mios it was. So happy we visited and dined in here. Good beers on tap, some ice tea with lemons, spinach garlic bread and the Pizza..OMG. We are from chicago so almost went with the deep/stuffed but decided on their Original style. Amazing crust and marinara. The crust though.. Truly unique with dousings of butter and some sort of potato chips or bread crumbs on the bottom. Super chewy yet crisp. Hard to explain the crust but us pizza snobs are walking away Happy.

Ordered a stuffed Windy City pizza, asked they hold the green peppers, instead they put hardly any sausage in it. Really wasn’t very good. For the price, I expect better.

Overall, it was a nice place. Loud speakers that play mainly RnB Playlist! They don’t have sweet tea, so for all my Southerners, watch out, lol. They have outdoor seating as well as indoor with a bar. They have nice big screen tv’s as well, and cincinnati bears signatures are on the walls. The staff are super friendly! Some are inattentive. However, it is not to the extent of being neglectful. Super cute place, and there is non pricey parking in the area for people! The food took a little while to come, but I’m not complaining cause we came in a few minutes after they opened, so they were still getting fully ready for the day

Wonderful. We dropped in for dinner and were able to seat ourselves immediately. Good music and service, along with a fully stocked bar. But the star of the show was the “stuffed” pizza. We had the “Windy City” but asked for no peppers and added double pepperoni. Wow – I am going to have to travel to Chicago again to verify, because that may have been the best deep dish pizza I have ever had.

Located on short Vine near UC. We ate inside, but Outdoor seating is available.
