Minute Grill: A Timeless Southern Burger Joint in Dublin, GA
Reviews
We skipped the counter and grabbed a table in the dining area. The atmosphere is exactly what you want from a classic burger joint—unpretentious, nostalgic, and incredibly welcoming. You can feel the history the moment you walk through the door.
The Highlights:
The Sliders: These are legendary. They are those “steamy hot little burgers” that you just can’t stop eating. I highly recommend getting them with onions and mustard for the full experience.
Chili Cheese Fries: Their hand-cut, battered fries are some of the best in Middle Georgia. Topped with their signature chili, they are a must-order.
The Service: The staff makes you feel right at home. It’s the kind of place where the service is just as warm as the food.
It’s rare to find a place that maintains its quality and soul for six decades. Whether you’re a lifelong local or just passing through town, Minute Grill is a piece of Georgia history that you shouldn’t miss.
It aint fancy. It aint spacious. It aint a problem!
You order at the register, and they call out your number, then bring your order to the table. Or, you can belly up to the bar.
The hamburgers are sliders. There is very little meat in the burger, and I would put them on par with sliders found at other burger places. The sliders are $1.80.
But! The French fries are the best we have had in a long time. I will be coming back here for fries. One burger and a large order of fries were enough to satisfy my appetite.
The menu is limited to burgers, hot dogs, and fries with variations to the fixings you can add, along with chicken strips and chicken sandwiches.
We got here at 11:40. By noontime, the place was packed, and a line was forming at the register. Orders are filled quickly.
If you charge your meal on a credit card, there is a small fee for this. This is not disclosed.
All in all, it’s a good stop for a quick bite. We will be back for some of those delicious fries.
What a great place, my brother said we had to stop in this town and eat here. We got there shortly before closing, the staff was very friendly, didn’t try to rush us, and made some great sliders and dogs, and a plus, the sweet tea was good. Highly recommend this place, remember SHOP LOCAL FIRST, these are your neighbors and friends.
Got #5, hotdog, double burger and fries were all excellent!! Love those RED hotdogs.
