The food was extremely authentic Indian cuisine, complemented by a pleasant ambiance and an overall welcoming vibe. The restaurant was spotless—none of the greasy tables or chairs often found in many Desi eateries. The crockery and cutlery were not only clean but also well-matched, adding to the dining experience. Presentation of the dishes was impressive, and the portion sizes were generous, offering excellent value for the price.

This is your typical neighborhood desi restaurant mos The selection isn’t huge, but it covers the basics: butter chicken, tikka masala, naan, dal, and a few dosa/idli items if you’re craving something from the south.

The food is flavorful and satisfying, though definitely on the heavier side. Expect rich gravies, visible oil, and generous use of butter and cream — not exactly health food, but that’s part of the classic desi restaurant experience. Portions are decent and the spices hit well.

I had an amazing experience at this Indian restaurant! The food was bursting with authentic flavors—each dish was delicious and well-seasoned. The butter chicken was creamy, the biryani was aromatic, and the naan was perfectly soft. The service was exceptional, and the ambiance was even better. They’ve recently renovated, and the new interior is absolutely stunning—modern, cozy, and inviting. We loved the fresh look and will definitely be back! A great spot for anyone craving real Indian flavors.

Had an amazing family dinner at Mintt Indian restaurant in Dec 2025.
The chicken starter Majestic Chicken was tender, and perfectly spiced and the mutton biryani was rich and aromatic with tender meat, and the chicken special biryani was fresh and simply flavorful.
Everything tastes incredible yet is super affordable – most items are just $10-$15!
The refreshed ambience is cozy and inviting now, making it perfect for family outings. We thoroughly enjoyed every bite and can’t wait to return.
Highly recommended!

Nice decision to come here on Valentine’s Day – the food was awesome and I would recommend this restaurant if you are looking for some nice Indian flavors. The employees are very friendly and smiling making the atmosphere welcoming.

the Service needs a little help with table service but not a deal breaker as the food and happy employees makes up for it.

I ordered the special chicken biryani, but unfortunately it was not cooked properly. The Rice felt undercooked, and there was a slight pungent smell, which made it unpleasant to eat. I was really disappointed with the quality this time. I hope the restaurant improves food preparation and quality control.

I visited Mintt Indian Cuisine Restaurant in Pittsburgh and ordered Chicken Majestic, Mintt Special Biryani, and Pachimirchi Mutton Pulao. All the dishes were outstanding and had authentic Andhra-style spices. I currently live in Germany and have tried many Indian restaurants, but I have never tasted food this flavorful and delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who truly enjoys spicy and authentic South Indian cuisine.

The prices are very affordable, and the ambience is pleasant and welcoming, which makes the overall experience even better.

We ordered south Indian food.
1.Please do not opt for biryani’s when you are here at Mintt Indian cuisine monerville rd. The biryani rice was not cooked properly, too much oil in the rice , The taste was not even a biryani while it is named as biryani. Lot of stem/pedicles of chili peppers where in the rice.
2.Very disappointed and bad experience while paying the bill as well . When we love the food we absolutely give tips. But the food taste was below average and not satisfactory customer would not offer any. The guy who was checking us out did not give us our change back. Later when asked for change he gave us the change back. Someone cannot default the change as tip when it is not offered.

I have placed an order for indo chinese item and a dessert choclate cake ,with clear instruction for spice level to be mild . i was very disappointed by the food , the fried rice has grounded green chillies and some weired masala that made it so spicy ,made my mouth and insides burn . it was no where near the taste of indo chinese item , the cake was very stale tasted like piece of cardboard on first bite , it is an item that needed to go in trash instead it was given to customer . my order was totally ruined , I was very hungry and all i got is a spicy foodand a piece of expired cake that would definetly resulted in an doctor visit if consumed. I would not recomend this resturant to any one unless you have high tolerence for spice level. they just cannot make food mild.fyi indo chinese items dont have greenchillies, green peas and definitely not indian masala .

The taste is authentic Indian food. We ordered baby corn Manchurian that was tangy and good. Chicken 555 was good in flavor. Panner special briyani was mix of Hyderabad and south mixed style and egg hakka noodles was good too. Just ensure you stay with spice level 2-3. I ordered 5 out of 10 still it was spicy. I would recommend to try.
