I took my friends who were visiting and they were hunger. It has been a year or longer since my last visit. Now they have all day lunch menu. My order was pork basil combo. I was skeptical when I saw pad thai version of this lunch combo. I took a bite and realized it was not bad. The pork basil, the meat was tendon and I can tasted the seasoning. Sometime, if the basil stir fired is slices of meat not ground, the seasoning does not absorbed in the meat. Egg roll was veggie but I got my egg fix. It was about &16 for lunch portion. I still the crispy pork fried rice would have been better option. My friends like their garlic chicken combo and beef stew. Service was good, water was refilled. We came around 2-3 pm on Saturday so it was just us. She even lowered the blind when, the sun hit our eyes. Parking in the complex.

I dont know how but they know me and my order by heart. Every time I try to change my order, name, look or even car they find me all the time. They really are amazing and the food has to be the best Thai food that I have ever had. Mintra is the #1 restaurant in Seattle and im so happy Iive down the street. Next time, I will trick them and they won’t be able to figure out who is picking up that delicious order

– phad Thai was slightly too sweet –

Food: 4 stars
Price: 4 stars
Ambiance: 2 stars
Service: 3 stars
Overall: 3.25 stars

We came here on the weekend right after it opened, and nobody else was there during the whole time we were there. Interestingly, we could order lunch combo on weekends. It’s usually only during weekdays for most places, but not here.

I got the C7 swimming rama lunch combo with chicken for $14.95 and hubby got the C5 cashew nut lunch combo with crispy pork for $17.95 (extra $3 for meat upgrade). Lunch combo comes with a generous portion of phad Thai, Jasmine rice, your dish of choice and an egg roll. Everything was tasty and we couldn’t finish, so we boxed things to go.

The only downside is that their phad Thai was overly sweet to me and doesn’t have much of the flavor profile that I was looking for. Perhaps it’d be better if they provide a piece of line like other places. I don’t think people would mind this as American love their sweets lol.

They were playing a Thai song over and over again when we were there… It’s very bizarre since it’s just that one song on repeat. I almost felt like I was being hypnotized…. by a language that I don’t understand lol.

Loved this place. Super cute decor on the inside. The food was delicious! Got the crispy garlic chicken with medium spice. So good! The chicken was juicy and crunchy, the flavors were amazing, good amount of spice and plenty of garlic flavor. The pineapple fried rice was great! That’s always my go to and I haven’t found one that I’ve loved in about 10 years since my last regular place, so I was very excited about this place. Could just use a little more pineapple though. Also got the Thai fried rice and that was really good too. 10/10 honestly

First of all the food was amazing and a great variety for only $17. I got the yellow curry with a two spice level two was plenty for me. The service was also very good and friendly. I will recommend this to anyone in the area.

We came for dinner on Thursday evening. The ambiance at the restaurant is nice, but that is the highlight.
In terms of food, the pad see ew was genuinely very good, as was their coconut prawn (both 5 star). Their tofu vegetarian decisions were very mediocre. The fried tofu was dry and bland. The basil Thai stir fry was soso.

My biggest complaint was the service. We had to ask for sauces to season the food. We mentioned that the basil Thai was overloaded with tofu and the green beans were undercooked. But what really did it for me was that we had ordered Thai iced tea which the server forgot to bring. However she still billed us for it. When we pointed it out she removed the charge but there was no apology or acknowledgement of any mistake.
Overall would not come back.

Searching for Thai restaurant, gave this a shot, it was good decision. My friend visited from Bay Area, enjoying his basil chicken combo with fried egg on top. It was ground chicken which it was good sign when we saw the picture. He likes the dish. I orders crispy pork fried rice, fried rice was not too wet or dry and they used Chinese broccoli (bonus point), crispy pork was crispy but not over cooked and it was not salty. There is sauce and chili oil for extra spice. The service was good but our waitress was not very friendly. The portion was good. Noodle dishes started at $15, combo or special dishes are about
$18-$20. My crispy pork was $17. They do have lunch combo.

My favorite Thai place in Renton!! Every dish has been delicious & authentic. Great quick service! Spice level 1 is flavorful and has a nice kick of heat. If you are sensitive to spice you might want to tell them no spice. Highly recommend this place!

Great little spot for Thai food! I really enjoyed the atmosphere, makes me feel like I’m somewhere in Thailand the customer service was great! I ordered the Pad Thai with chicken, it had the perfect amount of spice and was very delicious. I also got a sample platter of appetizers, the egg rolls were not very tasty but everything was so good! The only disappointment was they ran out of Pinot Grigio but this was not a dealbreaker. Overall I was satisfied with the dinning experience and I appreciated the fact that they had clean bathrooms!

I had the Penang curry lunch special, satay chicken, and crab Rangoon. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The pad Thai that came with the lunch special was kind of sweet, but had a smoky flavor which I liked. The Penang curry was good, but it was overly sweet. I asked for Thai hot, so wasn’t expecting it to be so overwhelming sweet. It didn’t suit my savory-leaving palette, esp. with the somewhat sweet Pad Thai. However, the food quality was good overall. I’ll personally avoid the ordering dishes made with coconut milk in the future.
